I was so excited to use these rollers until I actually used them. The rollers are Velcro and pull your hair putting them in as well as taking them out. You will definitely need to get the clips to assist in keeping the roller in place. Be mindful that you will need to order 2 packs (1 pk has 6 clips) of clips since 8 rollers come in the pack!!! Part of the reason I ordered these rollers was because they advertised that they were easy to use and provided volume. I have thick long hair. The 8 roller pack was not enough to roll all my hair. I also wish there had been better instructions regarding how long you need to apply heat. I added heat with my blow dryer for over 10 minutes thinking that would be enough to create curls. However, after 45 minutes of wearing the rollers, I ended up with frizzy and tangled hair that had NO volume, waves or any curls!!
