A must have

I have really long, fine hair. I bought these to use on the top of my hair ( along the part ). With my hair really long it has always been a challenge to get lift and volume that stays. My hair length usually weighs it down. First try with these and I had lots of volume and the area where one usuall...

I also use and like the detangler, the air dry cream, and the root lifting spray, but the ceramic and thermal curlers pull out my hair as I try to gently remove them. I have fine hair that is not as thick as it used to be, so I am very careful with the products and tools I use. I just want to warn anyone with fine hair that these may not be for you. This is my first disappointment with a Kitsch purchase, but I will continue using the Kitch products that work so well for my hair.

There weren't any clips so I used what I had. It was really hard to get my long hair around the curlers and put two clips on it to hold my hair in place.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Q&A

Showing 4 out of 4 Questions
Q
Do you need to use clips with these rollers, or do they stay in without clips?
Asked by CeCe
Official Answer By KITSCH - Brand Engage
These are self-gripping rollers, so clips aren’t required. The velcro-like surface is designed to hold once each section is rolled down to the root. If your hair is fine, slippery, or very thick, clips can add extra security while they set. For the most reliable hold, especially when you’re using them for lift or volume, pairing them with creaseless clips is a good option. Was this answer helpful to you

The XL Ceramic Thermal Rollers work best for medium to long hair, typically shoulder length or longer to create volume and soft waves. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
My hair is about 1 inch past my shoulders. Will this be enough for my hair?

Official Answer By KITSCH - Brand Engage
The XL Ceramic Thermal Rollers work best for medium to long hair, typically shoulder length or longer. Since your hair is about an inch past your shoulders, they should work well to create volume and soft waves. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
My hair is down to my waist. Will 4 be enough for me?
Asked by C
Official Answer By KITSCH - Brand Engage
Four XL Ceramic Thermal Rollers may not be enough if you want to do your whole head, especially with waist-length hair. For best results, you’ll likely need 6-10 rollers to cover your hair fully and achieve the desired style. Was this answer helpful to you
