- Start with clean, wet hair.
- For a smooth look, use the Gentle air attachment in Scalp protect mode to rough dry roots before styling. Section hair and use the Styling concentrator and a round brush to style one section at a time. Once hair is dry, use Flyaway attachment to create a smooth, shiny finish.
- Enhance your natural curl pattern with two modes using the Wave+Curl diffuser. Separate the prongs from the center of the diffuser for Dome mode to create natural waves or use in Diffuse mode for textured curls.

I should have bought Dyson sooner! I have chest length, thick hair. Im always lazy and air dry my hair. This hair dryer is worth the money. Now, I style my hair and it takes 5 minutes to dry/style. I love and can't rave enough!

As a professional hairstylist 💇🏾♀️, I have both the Pattern Hair Dryer and the Dyson Supersonic, and I can honestly say they're both excellent tools—just designed with slightly different strengths. The Pattern Hair Dryer truly shines when it comes to curly and textured hair. It's thoughtfully designed with curls in mind, delivers consistent heat, and enhances natural definition while minimizing frizz. I've seen beautiful results on curly, coily, and kinky hair types, especially when the goal is hydration, shape, and controlled volume. It's powerful, but in a way that feels intentional and gentle on textured hair. The Dyson Supersonic is fantastic as well, and in my experience, it feels slightly more powerful overall. It dries hair quickly and efficiently, and I've seen the greatest success with straighter or less curly hair types, especially when aiming for sleek blowouts or smooth finishes. The airflow and temperature control are impressive, and it's definitely a high-performance tool that delivers professional results. If I had to sum it up: the Pattern dryer is exceptional for curly and textured hair, while the Dyson excels in speed, precision, and versatility across hair types. Both dryers are worth the investment, and having both in my professional toolkit allows me to choose the best tool based on my client's hair type and desired style.

I cannot even comprehend how there could be a bad review on this product. This is the most amazing hair tool I have ever used. I found this deeply discounted at a winners in Canada and contemplated buying it as I use the airwrap to dry my hair currently. I decided I would try it and worst case scenario resell it if i didnt love it. I thought it might overdry my hair becuase it is so powerful which sometimes happen with the Airwrap. Well let me tell you, I was so wrong. This thing is UNBELIEVABLE. Somehow it restores more mositure to my hair after blowdrying. I am literally floored. My hair feels so amazingly healthy, strong, shiny, and mositurized that I cannot wait to see what it does long term. Im assuming its from the scalp sensor technology so the hair never gets over dried like with traditional blow dryers. My daughter also has super curly hair and the dome attachment does wonders for her curls. This is a device I would immediately repurchase the same day at full price if it ever broke. 1000/10 recommend it!
