Most Helpful Positive Review Best Eye Primer For All Types I have used all of UD's eye primers & given them all a good shot. I used to use the og 4ever- until EDEN. Eden is the best EP I have ever used. I am 40 & have very hooded eyes. This color corrects- a lil goes a long way. I apply using my Sigma 3DHD precision brush & set w/flesh tone shadow or trans powder. Eden can be worn alone. No creasing. Lasts longer than all day. Locks in shadows. Worth the $ esp when on sale! This is the best EP Urban Decay makes- for any eye type.
Most Helpful Critical Review Really bad quality and delete negative review I usually buy an eye shadow primer from another brand, but as it has been sold out for weeks I ordered UD instead. I love UD's eyeshadow palettes and have seen so many good comments about this primer that I was convinced it would be great. I was wrong. 1) there was a ton of dry product outside the bottle when I received it. I don't understand how something brand new can be such a mess and more dirty than other make-up items after months/years of use. 2) the consistency of the product is really strange, not like other primers I used. It seems that the product inside the bottle is really thick, but the only thing I can get on the applicator is some kind of liquide/oil with some small pieces of drier product. With the primers I used before, the product was really silky and uniforme. With this one, it feels like that some product does not ever set on the eyelid, but some part are overly dry. It gives a lot of texture to the eyelids and that's not flattering at all. 3) within a few hours, my UD eyeshadow has moved on my eyes and creased. This has never happended to me before, even when I was using a primer from a cheap brand. Maybe it's a batch problem, i don't know. Overall, I don't think the quality of the product and packagings is worth the price. I have to buy another eyeshadow primer, so really disapointed in UD.
Also, this review was approved but no longer appears on the website. This happened twice. Does not seem fair to the consumers if UD remove some of the negative reviews...

Perfect primer for my eye shadows. One tip: instead of patting it, actually rub it in like lotion. I initially made the mistake of patting and it didn't dry as well.
The best 5
Lids from Florida
I've tried a lot of eye primers and this is always the best. Got it on sale and lasts me a long time since I don't wear makeup a lot, but when I do I always prime. Goes on smooth and works well with all kinds of eyeshadows.
Like primer HATE the package and applicator 3
Public Speaker from Las Vegas, NV
This works pretty well for me. I don't have oily lids. It DOES crease and get patchy but I do love the color even w/out eyeshadow. In the "old days" this was a squeeze tube applicator. They changed it long ago and I didn't buy it for a long time b/c I HATE the applicator. I wipe it off the wand w/my brush to apply - so I found a little jar, squeezed the whole tube into it, and use my brush right out of the "pot."
So disappointed 1
Rocketmom from Dawsonville GA
I was expecting the same results from this product as the original and I was disappointed with how long it worked. In just a short time I was seeing creases. I also was expecting a slightly darker tint because that's what was projected on the packaging. This will be the first time I have ever returned a beauty product.
Love It! 5

My first eyeshadow primer…and love it!
I would not repurchase this again 2

I really wanted to be impressed with this eye primer because it is highly rated. But, unfortunately I don't find it to be any better than the many cheaper eye primers I have tried. My shadow faded and did not stay fresh. I cannot find a primer that works and I have tried so many ☹️
Great product and value 5

As an eyeshadow primer only
It's The Best! 5

I used this product in years passed, but searched for a comparison product that was just as great at cancelling the color of veins on my eyelids at a drugstore price. I have given up on that mission and have repurchased the Eden Eyeshadow Primer Potion. It truly preps the eyelid for any eyeshadow color to go on perfectly. Isn't that why we purchase those eyeshadows, so that they look at spectacular on our eyes as they do in the pan?
My favorite! 5

This is the eye primer I always come back to if I venture out to another product. I dab a little on my under brow area and then smooth out between the brow and lash area with my fingertip. It gives an even sheer opaque coverage which I like.
Literal magic 5

This held my eyeshadow in place through a 10 hour work shift which included 2 ugly crying sessions and 1 panic attack. Seriously impressive stuff. A++

Love the product. It gives me a shimmer to my eyelids so that if I don't want to wear makeup it looks like I have something on my eyelids.
It's alright 3

My eyelids feel oily by the end of the day
Nothing compares to this; worth the cost! 5

I love this UD product! I've been using if for a few years. I'd love to find something cheaper, but nothing compares. I don't wear a lot of makeup, but this makes my shadow stay and stay, even on my hooded lids.
This product does NOT work. 1

I tried this primer 3 times and my eyeshadow creased every time. I'm going back to my old stand-by. Lots cheaper and it works!
The holy grail of eye primers! 5
SMF from Wisconsin
I've tried primers from Clinique, Smashbox, etc - and NONE of them last even a quarter amount of the time this one does! Now that I'm in my mid-30s it was becoming nearly impossible to wear my winged liquid eyeliner like I used to because it would crease so bad in the outer corner of my eyes. And eyeshadows have never worked great for me because I have very oily lids and even the best of shadows would be creased within hours. But NOT with Primer Potion - hours later and everything is as crisp as when I put it on. I am so excited to be able to play with fun shadows and eyeliner effects again! And even better, a little bit goes a long ways which helps justify the price. I know there's some comments that say it's drying / irritating, but I have pretty sensitive skin and have not had these issues.
I'm amazed 5
Emerald from Austin
I have oily skin/eyelids. No matter how well I did my crease or blended my eye shadow, it would end up all together within a few hours. I've tried base eye shadows and nothing worked. This product is great! Not blurred shadow.
Amazing results 5

I use the Urban Decay eyeshadow primer every time I use eyeshadow, it helps keep my eyeshadow on all day and helps with creasing and flaking of my eyeshadow. My eyeshadow stays on all day and doesn't come off.
It's worth it 5
UltaShopper0105 from Houston, TX
I love the way it makes my eyeshadow appear better and last longer… I haven't used it long enough to know if the anti aging part works but it definitely smooths creases dnd wrinkles surrounding the eyes
Not the magic potion I expected. 2
Agent Snogpitch from Independence, KS
I've always used Ulta's matte eye primer, but as I get older, it's a little too dry. So I've been searching for a new eyelid primer that won't have my mascara and liner rubbing off on my oily lids in 10 mins flat. This is NOT it. This made my eyelids more oily. While I suspect it creates a great base for eyeshadow, as advertised, it is NOT something you can wear alone or with just mascara and liner and hope it helps prevent racoon eyes. It does not. The wand is nice for applying it, and it's a nice, silky texture. But I'm pretty sure I could get the same effect if I just moisturized my eyelids before putting on makeup. Soo...don't waste your money unless you're planning on using with shadow every time, and have dry eyelids. Those of you with oily eyelids -- beware!
Would not buy again - prefer original version 1
CR from KY
I have been using UD eyeshadow primer (regular, not anti-aging) for a few years. Since I am of "mature" age, I thought I would try the anti-aging version. Tried it twice and it's very oily. Fortunately I still had some left in the tube of original version. I will be returning the anti-aging tube.
It's a winner! 5
