So this detangler looked very promising I have a tentangler that I use but I'm always willing to try new stuff. Tried it several times, always the same result not much the tangling clumping up my hair and leaving it even more detangled than before. I'm like what am I doing wrong but this just did...

Dependent on hair type?
This did not soften or detangle my 3b, high porosity curls, no matter how much I used on wet hair. It seems like how well it works has a lot to do with your hair type
Good Detangler
I apply product to my hair after lightly misting hair with water in a spray bottle. A liitle goes a long way. I find it helps set the stage to help detangle my hair when I have worn a wash-and-go set for 5-6 days. I will then proceed to wash my hair in the shower with my shampoo of choice. It does not leave a film on my hair in any way.

it did have high slip in my my hands but did not work at all for my boys with very high porosity coily mixed hair. no matter how wet I get their hair, this just sits on the top layer and doesn't penetrate. it also smells horrible, they were gagging. I will stick with Innersense hydrating cream conditioner.

This detangler works so well and is perfect if you are tender-headed like me. It has little to no build up residue or flakes. Overall, great product!

I didn't like this product. it didn't detangle and once it dried it left a white cast. I tried using it with dry hair, wet hair, in the shower but nothing worked. I ended up throwing it away.
