Evenly mist The Wizard Detangling Primer throughout damp hair from mid-lengths to ends. Gently detangle with your fingers or a wide-toothed comb. Either air dry for natural texture or blow dry for a smooth finish. For the most even application, spray The Wizard onto a paddle brush, brushing through the hair to apply.

I guess I'm still learning how much of this to use. Seems to make my hair very greasy and oily feeling, even just 2-3 mists and I have long, medium thickness, straight hair. I have tried using less product and spraying in hands, rubbing hands together and massaging it in hair but that makes it worse...

My fave hair care product!
I absolutely love this detangling primer! I have very long hair, so it gets tangled easily, and I will never skip using this on my hair. I only blow dry my hair a couple of times a month and it does really well if I let my hair air dry but also does great when I blow dry too.
Not moisturizing
Hair Type Very Curly Hair
Amika the Wizard sprays out as an oil and left my fine very curly caucasian hair feeling extremely dry and looking dull. By comparison, Not Your Mothers Curl Talk leave in spray conditioner leaves my curls feeling bouncy, smooth and hydrated. I was so surprised at how bad this Amike product feels and looks in my hair because it has such high ratings, however for my type of fine curly hair it actually makes my hair feel worse than if I hadn't put anything in my hair at all.

guys. never did I ever think I'd be writing this review, but you go Amika! this product saved me from cutting my childs hair off. I have a older child who is a teen, and old enough to brush her own hair ... and she didn't. well she had 2 giant clumps of hair that became matted and this product saved me from cutting it out. this product helped reduce the strain in the yanking and giving the slip I needed to work some of these matted knots out. 2 hours later her hair is fine now. thanks Amika!
