- Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to turn on. The device will initiate at a default temperature of 365℉ (185℃) and automatically engage the negative ion feature
- Press the temperature button to select the appropriate temperature level. The recommended temperature levels for different hair types are as follows
- 320℉(160℃),For bleached, damaged, or fine hair
- 365℉(185℃),For slightly fine to normal hair
- 410℉(210℃),For thick and coarse hair

Works well, with a learning curve, but the barrel is short
Despite saying it is a "longer barrel" curling iron, it's not any different than the regular one. I've got a few different brands of self-rotating curling irons, and while this works well, it is a serious learning curve for getting the hair to twist, and it doesn't really curl the ends, it kind of bends them so you have curls all the way down the hair strand except for like a weird bend at the last inch.
Easy, lasting curls!
I have tons of fine, medium-long, straight hair which does not like to hold a curl (adding product usually makes it even worse). I've had the best success curling with flat irons but it's hard to get the back of my hair quite right and it takes a while to get my full head curled. This device fixes every issue I have with curling my hair and it's super easy to get the back done! Curls also last all day without product. I use the highest heat setting, grab a section of hair (practice is needed in getting the right amount -- too much will obviously clog the curler and heat won't distribute, but my hair has never gotten pulled out or truly stuck in it, and too little won't allow the curler to grab the hair properly, but less is still better than too much hair), lay it onto the top V so it falls down on top of the slit (point the slit away from your scalp) and let out suck the hair in. I wait 5 seconds after the beep to remove thicker hair in the back of my head so it holds. I love this product so much that I'm going to get a spare in case it breaks but I've had it for months and have used it a lot and it's still working great.

okay i have to say i was terrified to try this, as i've only used hot tools curling irons in the past but i am pretty impressed! i have very coarse, thick hair and not once did it get tangled. i didnt do too well the first time using because i did not change the curling rotation button when i switched sides but i did much better the second time. i still have to get used to it. my ONLY complaint thus far is the ceramic smell that it leaves on my hair. i have only used it twice, hoping it goes away after more uses. if you've been on the fence about buying like i was, just do it!

Cannot remember if i bought this at Ulta or online, just saw it while i was browsing the ulta website. This curler is beyond what i expected. Cut my curling time in half and my curls do not fall out. My hair is so shiny with this!!!
