Saturate hair with water and apply a generous amount of Color + Clenditioner. If applying to entire head of hair, comb from roots to ends to evenly distribute product. If applying to specific areas work through with fingers. Leave on for 3-20 minutes and rinse thoroughly. For maximum intensity, multiple applications may be needed to achieve desired tone. Color + Clenditioner can be applied to dry hair for a bolder color. The longer Color + Clenditioner sits on the hair the more color it will deposit. The lighter and more 'white blonde' the hair is the more true to tone the results from Color + Clenditioner will be. To maintain Color + Clenditioner results, alternate with Clenditioner. Color will start to lighten with each wash when a traditional shampoo is used. Pro Tips: Make sure enough product is being used. Hair should be saturated and product should be combed roots to ends. Yellow/ brassy blonde tones may play in effect with end result depending on Color + chosen. Silver, silver blue, light pink and platinum are geared towards the light blondes. The silver may turn a greenish hue IF the hair has any yellow tones, platinum will brighten blonde hair, silver blue will counter any brassy/orange tones.

I'm not happy with the redness of a home box color. Can I use the mocha or espresso to tone it down? I just colored it
- Asked by mg
- Official Answer By Keracolor - BEHi, Thank you for reaching out to us — that’s a great question! To better assist you, could you please let us know your starting level and color? You could use Mocha to help tone down red tones in the hair. The final result will depend on the timing and the number of applications, so we recommend adjusting both based on the depth of tone and color you’re aiming to achieve. We always recommend doing a strand test first to determine the best approach and ensure you get the results you want. M hair color is what my ULTA Stlist and I would call "carmel.." M stlist achieved this color for me b appling an allover foil (natural color: cool ver dark brow with aboutt 20% gra although d/t complexion and e color and warm toned otherwise).. I also have routine keratin treatments for frizz reduction/straightening. Which color of the ones listed for "Color and Conditioner" would you recommend to help maintain a carmel (quite deep) color between every approximate six week salon visits?
- Asked by Curious Cat
- Official Answer By Keracolor - BEThank you for reaching out to us — that’s a great question! We always recommend doing a strand test first to determine the ideal number of applications and timing needed to achieve your desired color and tones. When working with highlighted hair, we suggest proceeding with caution, as the lighter blonde pieces can sometimes pick up unwanted tones if you're not intending to color them. To help prevent this, you can use foils to separate and protect the highlighted sections from the areas you're coloring. Without seeing your hair, it's a bit difficult to give fully accurate advice, as results can vary depending on your starting level, condition, and existing tones. We hope this helps! Feel free to send us more details or photos if you’d like more personalized guidance — we’re happy to assist! Was this answer helpful to you

What if your grey roots are coming in?
- Asked by Rina
- Official Answer By Keracolor - BEThank you for reaching out — that’s a great question! We don’t recommend using the Color+ Clenditioners on gray hair, as they contain semi-permanent pigments that aren’t formulated to cover gray. Gray hair typically requires using permanent color for proper coverage. While you might see some tonal blending or subtle changes, it's also possible there won’t be any noticeable effect if you do try it on yourself. I hope this helps! Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions. Have a great day!Was this answer helpful to you

If I use the auburn one on my natural red hair will it do anything?? my hair is probably a natural auburn color as it is but in summer it lightens it up and makes it more of a strawberyy blonde and my roots that comes in makes it literally look like i color my hair.
- Asked by Taylor
- Official Answer By Keracolor - BEThanks for your question! Since your hair is naturally auburn and tends to lighten to more of a strawberry blonde in the summer, Keracolor Clenditioner in Auburn can definitely have a subtle effect — especially in the lighter areas. Here’s what to expect: On your lighter, sun-lightened sections (like the strawberry blonde parts), the Auburn Clenditioner will deposit more noticeable pigment, likely deepening the color and adding richer red/auburn tones. On your darker natural roots or deeper auburn areas, it may not make a dramatic change but can enhance shine and slightly intensify your natural color. Because the color is buildable, using it a few times will gradually even out the tones and help blend your roots and ends more smoothly, potentially reducing that "grown-out" look you mentioned. It’s a great, non-damaging way to refresh your color without fully dyeing your hair — and it washes out over time, so there’s no long-term commitment. We do recommend doing a strand test first to see how the color takes on your specific hair — everyone’s hair porosity and undertones are a little different! Best wishes! Thanks for reaching out!Was this answer helpful to you

YESSSSSSSSSSSSS
I have been using this brand for about a year now, so I am SO EXCITED this is at Ulta (I just bought some and I'm bummed I didn't see this was on Ulta, missed out on those points...next time though!) I use the Light Pink and I love it so much. It's best to apply it through your hair like a normal ...

Silver Blue Is Not Good
I got this in Silver Blue in the hopes of maintaining my artificial grey, since it fades fast no matter what. First, I expected the bottle to be bigger, since it's supposedly 12 oz. I know there's a volume difference between cylinders and cubes because of the angles but it still feels like a ripoff ...

Gave it a try & stylist thinks it was her last application!
Hair Type Straight Hair
Fine hair. I only gloss and this color deposit stays! For me, it added a rich layer to my dull hair like a pick me up. My stylist actually said wow your color is really holding up 😂 I told her I switched to the shampoo to get me through and she said hey if it's working, and it is—cheaper than salon. Hair doesn't feel like it's been chemically damaged. It says you can do it twice a week I think but I'm no where near that timeframe. It does deposit color so I am afraid doing it too often may make it VERY dark. Covered my gray as well. 5 ⭐️

We love this hair conditioner. It's fun to add a little color now and then. And it really is nice on my hair - it feels so soft after using it.

WORKED BETTER THAN EXPECTED!!
Hair Type Straight Hair
This worked sooooo much better than expected! Would recommend to ANYONE!! I was going between two other products and the ulta girl told me about this one and I'm sooooo glad she did!

Tons of compliments for a gray haired-lady!

I've used the Keracolor purple (in vivid, pastel, and made for brunette) for five years. My hair is mostly silver now with a little brunette left and keracolor colors it perfectly. For silver or gray people like me wondering if Kerakolor would work on you: I prefer to use the product just enough to get a blending of silver and purple. I'm not sure how it would perform if I wanted all-over purple, but for my purposes, it's perfect.
