Most Helpful Positive Review YESSSSSSSSSSSSS
I have been using this brand for about a year now, so I am SO EXCITED this is at Ulta (I just bought some and I'm bummed I didn't see this was on Ulta, missed out on those points...next time though!) I use the Light Pink and I love it so much. It's best to apply it through your hair like a normal dye to make sure the hair is completely saturated and you get an even coverage, but it's really worth it. It takes about 3-4 washes for it to come out completely. I apply it on bleached hair (about a level 8-10) This stuff also smells amazing and makes my hair feel silky smooth after I use it.
I have also used the purple and that one, for some reason, takes MONTHS to completely come out, so be aware. It might just be it clings to my hair more in some places, but I don't have that issue with the pink or other hair dyes I have used in the past. The purple does fade to a nice silverish color, but I also noticed it left a blue/green SLIGHT tint to my hair after it fully washed out.
I have an attached image of the Light Pink and Purple. Light Pink is after 1 application, and the Purple is one application but with I believe 1 one wash before the photo was taken.
Most Helpful Critical Review Silver Blue Is Not Good
I got this in Silver Blue in the hopes of maintaining my artificial grey, since it fades fast no matter what. First, I expected the bottle to be bigger, since it's supposedly 12 oz. I know there's a volume difference between cylinders and cubes because of the angles but it still feels like a ripoff to pay this much for such a small bottle. Second, it smells DISGUSTING. This the same kind of scent as "shower fresh" deodorant. I'm pretty sure they were going for "clean" but it smells like the laundry aisle in a grocery store or that cheap shampoo they use at walk-in salons and I hate it. Third, it doesn't work. The bottle says the color builds with repeated washes and it shows a pic of 1 wash vs more, but I saw no color difference and I tried it multiple times in a row. The color out of the bottle is a dark grey, obviously very diluted and not much blue tone, especially compared to other temp greys like Manic Panic Blue Steel (result: neutral grey, fades fast, no staining) or Ion Shark Blue (result: smoky blue grey, stains hair very pale pastel blue). This doesn't stain your hands if you use it without gloves, but that means it isn't very pigmented and it doesn't stick well to wet hair. It might work better on dry hair if you leave it for like an hour or 2, but then it's just another temp dye and it's way too overpriced if that's all it is. The non-pastels probably work better, but you need processed hair for them to stick and you need a lighter starting base for lighter colors (examples: Purple will not make brown hair bright purple, Rose Gold will not make orange hair pink). If you want to dye your hair at home, learn some color theory. :)

I got this because I have extremely damaged hair and any hair dye or chemicals or anything will break it. It's great on my hair and I use it every other wash to maintain the color. And the color is banging.

I absolutely love this product! It smells great, softens hair and the color results are amazing and fun without damaging my hair. I'm obsessed with the Copper color and I've received soooo many compliments on my hair!!
Cannot say enough good things!
Abby from MI
I cannot say enough good things about Keracolor in platinum! I'm naturally a brunette, but I have been dying my hair blonde for years. I always have trouble with my hair turning yellow over time, but this has been the greatest fix! My hairdresser gave me a sample first, and I immediately had to buy it full size. It smells so good, it makes your hair so soft, and of course leaves an amazing platinum tone. I love that it's cleansing, so I can use it without shampoo (I hate over washing my hair) and still get a nice clean while staying sooo soft. If I really need a good toning, I'll put it in my hair dry and leave it for 15-20 minutes. This works wonders!

I bought the purple for my daughter and the silver for myself. I wasn't expecting dramatic results but I put the purple on my daughters hair dry, left on for 25 mins, she had darker brown hair but it didn't even have a slight tint. I have a blonde balayage, so I did my wet because I didn't want it to be too silver with my hair always being lightened, I left it on in the shower for 20 mins, literally did nothing at all. The only thing I will say is it did make out hair very soft and shiny but that's not what my intentions were with this product.
Colored my hair green

Used the onyx and when it faded, it left an ugly green color.
Silver to Lavender
HC from OK
I have naturally oily hair, so I use shampoo first and then put this product from my hairline to the crown of my head. I leave it on while I shave my legs and then rinse. It reaches its maximum color deposit after about 4 uses. It leaves my silver hairs a nice color between lavender and purple, and it leaves a very slight purple undertone to my medium brown hair.
Angel from PA
For the price of this product I just expected better quality. It's very temporary and will rub off on anything and everything. This stained my bathtub, my skin, and my clothes. Also I wish I got the extra soft effect that everyone is talking about! My hair is very long and very coarse and trying to work the product through all of my hair took forever and once I rinsed it all out my hair was dryer than before. If you have a lot of hair, get two bottles. Not worth it.

I had my hair dresser dye my hair this beautiful wine color but red and wine wash out so quickly so I looked into keraclenditioner and it's amazing I was able to keep the color I have long in between salon appointments and it conditions my hair I apply it on dry hair comb it through to tips leave on for 20 mins wash it out and shampoo with Redken color extend magnetics it's been a month and my hair is still the color I have from the salon. Note color I used is Merlot and if you have highlights they will be lighter
Pretty good! But beware stains.

I've started coloring my natural blonde hair to dark brown. Honestly I'm lazy and didn't want to go to the salon as often, so I picked up Espresso hoping it would help tide me over. I've used it 3 times and it definitely makes a difference, both to make my roots blend better and as a general color refresh. I would use it on dry hair, it wasn't as impactful on damp hair. But make sure you are washing it all down the drain ASAP--I wasn't paying attention last time and some of it stained the bottom of my shower. I think I can get it off with some heavy-duty cleaner (the color isn't as intense as actual dye), but hopefully the warning will save someone else the trouble.

i have blonde hair and wanted to try a color that would wash out after some washes so i got the purple. i put it on my dry hair and left it on for about 30 minutes and my hair turned out purple and washed out after some washes. it even made my hair so soft! cant wait to try out other colors!
Silver is Perfect!
Jadedangel from New Mexico
I did not originally see many reviews on the silver product, but decided to try it anyway. I have colored my naturally dark blonde hair a lighter blonde for years, but am now trying to embrace my naturally gray hair. I am in between with 3/4 grown out grey/bronde with blonde "tips". I wanted to brighten the gray and even out the blonde tips. I used the silver for 10 minutes a day ago and got a little brighter. I used it today for 15 minutes and WOW! Beautiful light silver color with silver tips. It was worth the price and I will definitely use again.

With this product I maintain my copper color and it works wonders for me! And Saves me a lot of money and it's easy to apply! I find it working better with dry hair

I used the mocha to cover my unhealthy blonde hair and now it looks shiny and healthy.
wanted to love it…

I so badly wanted to love this product. I workout 5 times a week so dying my hair doesn't really make any sense. I figured I'd try this to maintain color. It stains!!! I stained my bathtub and hands with it. I like the outcome of the color but in the end it's too messy.. I'd rather continue to just dye my hair.
littled4ever from Cibolo,Tx
I bought the blue to try because I've used other colors in the past and didn't have any issues. This was a HUGE mistake! It stained my blonde hair! Now I'm having to get it professionally removed by my hairdresser. My hair is extremely fine.
Had to leave a review
Christie from NJ
I bought this in Platinum, my hair is professionally dyed blonde and I usually use Redken purple shampoo/mask to brighten it up, but heard about this and decided to try it out. I used it in the shower and probably left it on for 5-7 minutes, and didn't notice much of a difference, so I will try it on dry hair for a longer period of time and see what happens. But what made me got out of my way and Have to comment is the SOFTNESS my hair felt after using this. just WOW! I've used bonding treatments, Olaplex, Bond Ultim8, and this left my hair feeling even softer AND it didn't weigh my hair down or make it look greasy at all- which happens with conditioning treatments. it completely changed the feel of my hair and i can't stop touching it, even after 3 days of not washing my hair- still super soft. We'll see what happens when I leave on for longer, as I hope to see a color brightness, and will update from there
Great product horrible color

This conditioner leaves my hair so soft and I love that, but I have brownish copper hair with ombre and I used copper on it (merlot is far too dark for me) and "copper" should be called "ORANGE". I mean this is the BRIGHTEST orange ever. Like neon! Not happy w/ this. It's as if I just dyed my hair neon orange on the bottom half and after multiple washes it is still bright as heck. I hope keracolor makes more color options in the future and maybe changes some names because I absolutely love the product but not the shade.
Katie from Kansas
I bought the shade copper. I used it on my pre-lightened hair that had some residual professional color. I've used this approximately 5 times over two different days. But that's just because of trial and error. On me, it barely deposits any color if my hair is wet or on my roots that are my natural, not pre-lightened hair. I used this when my hair was damp, and it turned out very patchy, so make sure your hair is consistent in wetness. Other than that, it lasts about 5-10 washes before I need to touch up the color, so a few weeks for me. It's not my favorite, but it gets the job done. Both days I've used this I had to touch up what I had done before.

I bought this today in the shade Merlot. Previously, I used a box hair dye similar to this shade about 3 or so months ago so my hair was already faded. I used this tonight cause I was so excited to see the results. And I am absolutely blown away by how much more vibrant my hair is!! I didn't have any problems with staining. I plan to use this every other time I shower.
good product bad component

so i love the product itself but there's not a lot of it and every time i get one the pump breaks at some point without fail. i love the product but i really wish the component was better :(
Worked great the first time
TSimon from Houston
I have over processed hair. It's been bleached a few times and colored blue and purple. I removed the funky color one last and went back to a shade closer to my natural red hair. Hair that's been bleached so much doesn't hold color very well so the red was fading quickly. I decided to try this product to help brighten it up between coloring. I applied it to wet hair and let it sit for 20 minutes. I was really surprised at how well it worked. My red was instantly brighter. I plan on using this every few washes or so.
Somewhat messy/minor staining

I purchased the copper. It did in fact refresh my copper color in between dying. I tried to rinse it from the shower immediately. A spot that I missed did staying my shower. I rinsed till water was clear & when I plopped my hair, it left copper on my towel.
bought the color red for my daughter and it was great!!!!!

perfect, even after one wash my hair was semi-back to normal the more I wash my hair. just to mention, I have purple hair and yes the price is high but it's worth it knowing it's a good product and will last long.

This for me is amazing. I don't do reviews often but this is great and I've used multiple shades. My hair was a magenta color last year and when it started to fade I used a bit of red and a bit of purple and it out it right back to before. This time my hair is more of a
copper color and was fading to a light brownish red. I used the copper and it is right back to when I first got it done. Always will be a go to!!
