The only time I could MAYBE tell a difference was in the morning, prior to eating or drinking anything; and that was bloat due to sodium intake.

It immediately (and stubbornly) stuck to the roof of my mouth, which was uncomfortable. Maybe I was supposed to put it under my tongue? I didn't care for the taste either though it's not the worst thing I've put in my mouth. I tried it more as a preventative (before eating/drinking) rather than post-bloating so it's hard to say if it helped.
