Does this have 10%? Azelaic acid. I'm just not sure what this suspension means.
- Asked by Cristie
- Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand EngageHi there. Yes, Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% contains 10% Azelaic acid. The "suspension" means that the active ingredient (Azelaic Acid powder) is dispersed throughout a cream rather than being fully dissolved, allowing for a high concentration in a stable, lightweight formula. Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
Can I use this with salicylic acid?
- Asked by Help please!
- Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand EngageHi there. We do not recommend applying Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% in the same regimen as Salicylic acid as this may disrupt the skin barrier that can lead to signs of irritation. We recommend using them on alternate days and/or nights .Was this answer helpful to you

This stuff has saved my skin
I was suffering from bad hormonal acne on my chin. I went to a dermatologist and she put me on antibiotics for three months and prescribed very agressive creams. I tried it for three months but my acne got worse. I still had the Azelaic Acid Suspension laying around and decided to give it a go, in o...

Received oxidized serum
This was my first time ordering and sadly I received an already oxidized serum which is supposed to be unoppened, most probably it's a batch that is expired as the website states unoppened products have 3 years shelf life. I will seek to return this product and hope there won't be much hassle in t...

My skin texture and breakouts got worse
This was supposed to be a rosacea friendly acne management product. It smells awful. It pills up badly if you don't give it 3-4 minutes to absorb and I've had more breakouts after 6 weeks of use.
best product EVER
This product has genuinely changed my skin for the better. Ive been using this for about 2 1/2 months and my skin has become so smooth. before I started using this product I had a big problem with old acne scars and bumpy texture but this product has gotten rid of all texture and faded many of my scars. I use this product only at night, and i ONLY use a moisturizer before using this product, ive never experienced any burning or pilling with this product either🤷🏽♀️ some cons about this product tho its very small and while a little product goes a long way theres only half the product in the packaging. the smell isnt very strong and I kinda like it, will definitely be repurchasing this product.
Stops acne in its tracks!
I have some hormonal acne under my chin and I had read online about how to treat different types of acne and came across Azelaic Acid. I was previously using Salicylic Acid and it wasnt really helping for the acne I had so I was hesitant for awhile but finally decided to purchase this from a brand I trust, Ordinary Brand, and the results have happened rather instantly. It says AM/PM but I skip AM and mainly do it PM. I really like this product and the results show well
