The Ordinary recommends performing a patch test prior to incorporating a new product into your skin care routine.
Use ideally in the PM, no more frequently than twice per week. Clean face and wait for skin to dry. Do not use on wet skin. Apply evenly across face and neck using your fingertips. Leave on for no more than 10 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water.
A top tip when dying eyebrows: Apply the mask while the dye is sitting, and rinse both together in the shower for a quick, convenient experience.
Contraindications: Do not use in the same routine as direct acids, EUK 134 0.1%, retinoids, pure or ethylated vitamin C, or peptides.

I will buy again. And I have super sensitive skin
I have super sensitive skin, so I was nervous to try this, but I have had great luck with The Ordinary, so I bought it. I am glad that I did. I followed the advice of other sensitive skin users, and so far, I have only left this on for 3-4 minutes. I started at strictly 3-minutes. I ititally only used it once every two weeks. Then after a month, once a week. Now, I can use it twice a week, but if my rosacea is flared, then I go back to once every two weeks. I put it on my face, hands, and upper arms (since I have always had those annoying clogged pore bumps on my upper arms. ) I set my phone timer, put it on, and then take my shower. I am very, very careful to rinse it off thoroughly. The first time that I used it, I just washed it off in the sink, but then I still felt stingy and burny, and had to wash my face and arms more. It have found this peel leaves my face baby soft, my congested, enlarged pores on the side of my nose are improving, and my upper arms are actually smooth for the first time in my adult life. And yes, this product does feel stingy snd burny when it is on. So, be sure to follow the product directions and start out with less time and gradually increase over weeks..months, as your skin allows. But never exceed the max of 10-minutes because this product is very strong. Also, rinse ridiculously well after using it because otherwise it will still feel burny.
OMG! So good
I leave it on for 7min to make sure I have enough time to get to the sink to rinse it off. Noticeable difference afterwards and it really helps absorb your night cream.
Always in my routine
Every time i use this, i get comments from people i know who say, "your skin is glowing today" yes, it doesnt smell great and there is a tingle sensation that i find unpleasant, but bearable. I have been using this for several years to address complexion and dullness and can always see a difference when i do. I give it 5 stars. Do not leave on more than the recommended time, so keep a timer if you have to. Cost effective and it actually does work.
Will never live without this
This is my number one skincare staple. The extra exfoliation leaves my skin feeling so incredibly smooth. It also allows me to go longer without exfoliating with a scrub, which I think helps with breakouts and redness because scrubs are often times abrasive to the skin. It does tingle/burn, but you get used to it and it has never irritated my skin. I get a lot of compliments on my skin and I use very few products. This is one of them and I never let it run out. Will stain your clothes and countertops so be careful. Wipe it off of your countertop before it dries.
