I think this is one of the best Conair hot roller sets on the market. If, like me, you prefer larger rollers and often don't use the medium and small rollers included in other sets, then this is the hairsetter for you! All the rollers are 1 1/2 inches in diameter so the result is lots of volume and smooth, loose curls. The rollers heat up fast and are gentle enough on my hair to use every day (something I avoid doing with my high-heat curling iron). The set also contains 12 plastic and 12 metal clips which is a huge plus--I use both types depending on where I place the rollers in my hair.
I think that many of the negative reviews here are because people don't understand that this set is not for creating tight curls. In fact, if your hair is shoulder length or shorter, you probably will not get any curls at all; rather, you'll get a large C or S shaped wave (like you would with a blowdryer and a round brush). You also have to let the rollers cool completely and use product in your hair (frizz control serum, gel/mousse, and hairspray) if you want the curls to hold.
My hair is about two inches below my shoulders, very wavy, layered, and tends to curl easily. This set smoothes out my waves and give my hair body and shape. Love it and highly recommend!
I let this warm for 5 minutes. The rollers were pretty hot. Sprayed dry shampoo on roots. Then hair spray the rest. Then started rolling my hair and left the warmer on the whole time. I let them sit in my hair for 40 minutes. Hairspray each curl as I took out the rollers. Finger combed my hair with maybe 5 strokes at best. Ands this is all the curl these gave. Hairspray again. I'm hoping it stays at least like this. Tho I wanted way more curl than I got from these. I got much more from the remington curling wand I just bought.
Maybe my hair is too long. I don't know.

Just bought these. The rollers burn my fingers when putting them in. The clamps don't hold well. Would not recommend this product.

I loved the size of the rollers! But, unfortunately, they did not get hot enough, I should have trusted the reviews here! My previous conair sets were great so I am not sure how to replace the old one...

This product is not as advertised. I was expecting to have big curls but all I got was bent hair.

whoever wrote the comments saying these work on thick hair... sorry, no they do not. I tried to curlers out just to see how they would do when I first got these. left them in even after they cooled off so I could try and lock in the curl. Took them out and nothing. no curl at all. I used a small section of hair as well. No matter what i try my hair won't curl. Taking them back.

I use it to smooth my frizzy hair

I recently tried Conairs hot rollers - they heat up quickly (IMO) and stay in unlike other hot rollers I've used in the past. My only complaint is that they take awhile to curl, so if you're looking to curl your hair in 15 minutes I would opt for a wand. Other than that, they do the trick!

I've never owned a set of hot rollers that have been designed so poorly. For one, the plastic claw clips are flimsy and don't hold the hot rollers in my hair. They buckle under their own weight. Secondly, there is no pouch or compartment to store the clips or pins. I resorted to using a resealable plastic bag. Thirdly, the long chopped out areas on each roller is odd. Those cutout strips or chunks get in my way as I roll sections of my hair. If they are intended to line up with the plastic claw clips, they failed. Furthermore, the rollers do not get hot enough for my tastes. I have found myself frustrated that the rollers fall out of my thick and wavy hair far too easily. Would I recommend these hot rollers, absolutely not.

I have naturally curly hair but not much volume on top, my hair is heavy so it flattens quickly. These give great volume without a ton of curls. My only criticism is I wish there was a way to store the pins with the curlers. A little cup attached to the side or a compartment underneath would be great!

I've used hot rollers for years. This set is perfect: heats up in less than 2 minutes (1 roller has a "dot" that changed from red to white to indicate rollers are ready), rollers are easy to put in and within 10 minutes or so produces large, soft curls. I take the rollers out, run my fingers through my hair & I am good to go. Perfect! Curls do relax during the day but hair still looks full and has curve. Would definitely buy again. Read complaints & I say you want or need tighter curls, head for a curling iron or another hair appliance. I am extremely happy with my purchase!

Saw on good old YouTube being used for a sexy full hair look. So of course I needed it in my life. I got the last one in my store and I don't plan on returning even though the little red light doesn't turn on. You can tell when the rollers are hot. I like the claws they come with to hold in place.

Love this set! it heats up fast and came with the old style clips along with the newer plastic ones.

The light is supposed to change to white once heated, it doesn't. It just stays hot as long as it is plugged in, no on / off switch. The size of the rollers are nice and the clips are helpful. If this wasn't on sale when I got it I would have returned immediately.

Works great. Doesn't burn my fingers. I have long thick hair and they perform beautifully. Been using hot rollers for over twenty years so I know when a product is good or bad and these are excellent.

I have had a set of hot rollers by Conair for 40 years. They still work but they are showing there age. I bought this set as a backup and haven't been disappointed.

Yes I used it

This set heats up quickly and has the perfect size rollers for some wave and control. No Shirley Temple action here!

I have thicker hair and found these just dint get hot enough to curl my hair. the velvet I believe prevents the heat fro. Truly getting to hair. when I remove I have very large loose curls and looks great. Flat 5 mins later. I wish they would come out with the old fashioned hot rollers with just jumbo rollers. Will be returning

This product sucks. The curls don't last and my hair got stuck in the gaps that are on the curlers.

I had read a few reviews and had been hopeful these would work. When I opened the box I noticed the clips would never hold a curler AND my hair. Needless to say it did not work. I returned this item ASAP and am still looking for amazing hot curlers
George the Dog from AR
The clips do not hold these roller in the hair. I used the rollers once and it was a mess. I wish I could return the product!

Love this, I didn't want the small/useless to me curlers included in most packages. Great price point. Love using the claw clips since I never seem to get the pins in right without poking myself.

This is probably my third or fourth set of conair hot rollers and I will continue to use them because they work well with my wild curly hair. But I'm disappointed that there's not a spot to store the pins when not in use. Highly disappointed.

Curlers have a slit to hold hair which is difficult to use and causes a kink in the hair. Furthermore, the curler clips also cause kinks
