What does the roller look like? Does it have teeth or the velvet? I have frizzy curly hair and the velvet will not work. I tried to look at picture, but nothing showed the roller.

If you are looking for a hair setter with no velvet, you can try the Infiniti Pro Xtra Long Hotrollers (Ulta SKU #2280686) or the Compact Hair Setter (Ulta SKU #2216875). I let this warm for 5 minutes. The rollers were pretty hot. Sprayed dry shampoo on roots. Then hair spray the rest. Then started rolling my hair and left the warmer on the whole time. I let them sit in my hair for 40 minutes. Hairspray each curl as I took out the rollers. Finger combed my hair with ...

Not hot
I wanted to love this product. I bought them for my wedding, and I tried them out on a girls weekend out of town. Not only did the curls, waves, or body not hold, because I used hairspray, my hair looked worse when I took them out. As a person with long, fine hair, I also felt like the rollers were heavy and I was concerned that they pulled my hair. I felt the rolling process was easy but the results were… well, there were no results and my hair looked worse than before I used them.
I would not buy these again.

Love the size - missing metal clips
Love the size, ease, and effect of these curlers by plastic clips always leave lines. Unfortunately, my set did not have the metal clips in the packaging. I bought these specifically for the size and that they came with the metal clips.

This product is terrible. First off they still smell after 2 months of use. They get extremely hot and the white clips do not hold these rollers in fine hair, I had to buy the metal clips and that works better but the roller are very HEAVY and don't stay in very well. Please bring back the "Curl and Wave" hair setter or better yet manufacture the old 1972 "clairol kindness" in all 1" rollers. Those were so good heated fast and stayed hot for almost an hour for a great hair set.

I love this product so much! I can throw my hair up in the rollers really quick and get great results every single day. Really easy to use and they heat up fast! I dont like putting alot of effort into my hair routine and this product has completely helped me achieve a blown out look with little effort!
