Deeply Nourishing & Hydrating
When I first started using this cleansing balm, I'm not going to lie, I thought that it may be just a little too rich for my oily-leaning combination type skin. However, I have now come to very much appreciate it for its gentle, soothing nature. When I first rinsed it off I felt like it left a very ...

I'm not sure if I misunderstanding the point of this or what but it's really weird. It's a very thin cream and I got it because of that apple butter description, but it has a funny, almost funky oil smell. I've used it a few times but I'm struggling to continue to use it because it just leaves my skin with this weird residue feeling that somehow both oily and slightly dry at the same time. It seems like it might help with moisture a little bit but I've had to use a lot of it to get any notable effect. I would not buy this again and you probably shouldn't either. This one is a swing and a miss.
Doesn't clean thoroughly
I love the way that it makes my skin feel moisturized afterwards, but it doesn't completely remove makeup. I have to use a micellar pad afterwards and I am amazed at how much makeup has not been removed by the cleansing balm.
I would not buy this again

The smell was fine in the container, but once on my skin, I did not like it at all. Also, it says it is a make up remover, but you cannot use it in the eye area, which I did not know until I had the container in my hands. So, I cannot use it as I hoped, and I do not like the smell on my skin.
In my skincare routine!

Gifted by Origins. I was able to try Origins facetopia apple butter cleansing balm this week in exchange for my review and I love how this cleansing balm is able to clean my face without stripping essential oils from my skin. It's gentle and refreshing on the skin!
Melt that makeup away

I received the Origins Youthtopia Apple Butter Cleansing Balm as a complimentary gift, and it's quickly become a favorite in my evening routine. The buttery texture melts effortlessly into the skin, dissolving makeup—including waterproof mascara—without any harsh tugging. As you add water, it emulsifies into a silky milk that rinses clean without leaving any greasy residue.
