Really impressed with Philosophy Purity One-Step Meltaway Cleansing Balm. It melts into the skin and effortlessly breaks down makeup, sunscreen, and daily grime without any harsh rubbing. My skin feels clean, soft, and not stripped afterward, which is a big win. The texture is silky and rinses off easily without leaving a greasy film. Only reason it's 4 stars is the scent is a bit noticeable and the jar packaging isn't the most travel-friendly. Still, a solid, gentle cleanser that does exactly what it promises.

I recently tried the Philosophy Purity One Step Cleansing Balm, and honestly, it was… just okay. The texture felt nice at first, but once I started working it into my skin, it tugged a bit more than I expected from a balm. I kept trying to warm it up between my hands, but the drag never really went away. It also didn't fully remove my waterproof mascara. Even after taking the time to massage it in, I still had smudges under my eyes and needed to follow up with another cleanser. For something marketed as a one‑step product, I was hoping for a more thorough cleanse. It did remove my foundation and base makeup well. I've tried the cleanser version of this balm and loved this! Overall, it wasn't terrible, but it didn't wow me either.

This is a rich creamy cleansing balm immediately absorbs oils, dirt and impurities of my skin leaving my dry skin incredibly hydrated and smooth without leaving a greasy feeling. The formula is very gentle and effective and lightweight and you just need a little bit it really goes a long way. It's my new favorite cleanser for my everyday skincare routine. I would highly recommend it.
