Apply a small amount to face in the AM or the PM. A slight tingling sensation can be expected after application.

Why is the product gritty? Will the grittiness dissolve? I feel like washing it off after putting it on skin.

These particles remain suspended which gives a slightly sandy or gritty feel on the skin. It's also made without water (to keep the Vitamin C stable) so the powder can't fully dissolve the way it might in a water-based serum like Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12%. Awful texture
I am not sure of the effect of this product as it doesn't seem to absorb due to its poor formulation. Let me start with the beginning: Very runny, drips everywhere if you aren't careful. This is my favorite Vitamin C serum.
I don't agree with the comments suggesting this texture is bad. I appreciate the texture and understand that the slight texture is what holds the Vitamin C in the serum so it can be used by the skin without breaking down first in the bottle. That's why this serum feels different and that's why it actually works, unlike many Vitamin C serums where the Vitamin C is degraded long before it comes in contact with your skin.
Instant burning
It feels like a microdermabrasion scrub on your face and it instantly caused me to have an intense burning sensation. I wiped it right back off with a cold towel & will not try it again. I do have sensitive skin but I use a lot of other products with no issues.
So stinky
I never write reviews but had to on this one- I purchased this Vit C product because it was slightly less expensive than my usual one, but oh my god I should have read reviews before buying. It STINKS. So smelly. Will be returning because it's so bad. Also be careful using it with other products, I didn't think about it beforehand so that's on me, but I used an acne product with it and it left red marks exactly where I put it (when I usually have no problems layering it with a vit C product)
Working great
So far this has been really great. Goes on smooth, absorbs quickly. Feel a little tingle, but not excessive. My skin seems smoother.
