Starting with half a pump, dispense foundation onto the back of your hand or directly onto your tool of choice (Rare Beauty recommends the Liquid Touch Foundation Brush or Soft Touch Makeup Blending Sponge), then tap or sweep onto the face in even layers, building as desired.

I really like the general finish, look, and feel of this foundation. I especially adore the packaging - Selena always is so intentional with accessibility and making sure that the packaging is intuitive and easy to use, and I appreciate that so much. The bottle is sleek and the pump works very well. The finish of this foundation is a very natural satin finish that is slightly buildable. However, I do have some red acne scarring and this did not cover that on its own. I'm sure with concealer or powder it would do the trick, but I wanted to test the foundation by itself for the review. It is definitely long wearing and did not oxidize, which is a plus. If you want light to buildable coverage, lightweight feel, and great packaging, this is a very good option! Just don't expect it to be full coverage.

I was nervous to branch out to other brands considering it is really hard for me to like a foundation but wow, I am impressed on how natural this foundation makes me look. It applies smoothly and does not cake up next to my nose and chin like other foundations do. I also like how I can wear this all day long without having to apply. I highly recommend if you are looking for something that applies evenly and lasts all day without looking cakey.
