Purely a ridiculous luxury item (for ME)
This spray can be refreshing AFTER I've rinsed off face cleanser with tap water. But using it to help remove the cleanser with tissues is NO GOOD for me. My skin is very sensitive to friction. I Repurchased Another One. Necessary? No. Convenient? Yes!
Is canned water you can spray around necessary? No. Is it nice and convenient? Yes. I use this when I get out of the shower and my face has arrived and looks red. I spray this and then put my toner/ serum on. It helps the skincare with moisture, reduces my redness, and reduced stinging. I also use it every morning when I sit down to get ready for makeup. I have a retinol routine at night and sometimes I wake up with dry tight feeling skin. I spray this on my face for a wake up/ and re-moisturizing step, then put on my toner/ serums and eye gels. I understand that having water present in the mix of your skin care can help the skincare restore moisture to the skin. I am using heaters at night sometimes and my skin can get even more parched on those nights and any assistance with re-storing moisture in the morning helps. Another use I have found with this product is for my makeup sponges. My makeup area is not near the sink and I don't remember to get my sponge damp sometimes before makeup. Spray your sponge with this and get started on the makeup. I also like using it for the angled brushes that need to make dark eyeliner lines and spray the brush wet and then do eyeliner. It helps make the line really dark and sharp. It's a huge loss if it is gone but when you have it and realize it saves some steps and time, it is super helpful.
Just water
I thought this product was for refreshing your skin and giving your makeup a little freshness. If you spray this on your made up face, it will take your makeup off. It's just water. It doesn't calm irritated or sensitive skin. It's just water that you have to pat dry. It's really inconvenient to carry this can of water and a wash cloth to pat off the excess. I don't understand the hype around this product. It splatters the water everywhere and you're just left with a wet face. Putting water in a spray mist bottle would give you more controlled and hydrating results. I would never repurchase.
Perfect for your face
I love this. I recently got this from a dermatogolist recommended kit. I have been using it on my face & love. More recently I have been trying this on my legs. You need this if you need extra hydration.
