Defective Batch
Upon opening blue-tinted water started pouring out, like the product separated? Very bizarre.
What happened!?
I've bought this cream before and loved it, I thought it did a good job of soothing my sensitive skin. I guess I should have read the recent reviews first before buying a new bottle. Water started squirting out as soon as I opened it. I tried shaking it and mixing it and nothing happened, the product has completely separated. I bought it in store and it was sealed so I know it hadn't been tampered with. Either this company is sending out a bad batch of this product or they've changed their formula so much it's unusable. DO NOT BUY. I will be returning it.
EXCELLENT FOR ROSACEA
Messed up my skin barrier with actives. This stuff is great at bedtime. No sting. Waking up with fresh looking skin. I like that it's healing and you can use it on broken skin which is what I'm dealing with on my face.
Perioral Dermatitis
I damaged my skin barrier back in September after using a prescription retinoid too quickly. By November, I stopped using all actives, but I ended up developing perioral dermatitis anyway. I was officially diagnosed in December and prescribed both topical and oral medications. Unfortunately, nothing worked. The prescriptions didn't help, and when I tried other recommended actives like azelaic acid, my skin actually got worse. By December and January, my perioral dermatitis was the worst it had ever been even though I had completely stopped actives and was following my prescriptions. Out of desperation, I simplified everything and stopped using moisturizers I thought were "safe." I went down to just this product and the same gentle cleanser I had been using the entire time. This product became my holy grail. I've never written a skincare review before, but I genuinely felt like I needed to share this. I started using it in January, and my skin is now completely healed. After months of struggling, irritation, and frustration, this was the only thing that finally worked for me. If you're dealing with perioral dermatitis or a damaged skin barrier, it might be worth simplifying your routine and giving this a try.
