Ive bought this a few times & I've never had an issue with product separation. It's VERY good for my skin barrier but can clog my pores too (I'm acne prone). I always keep a tube of this on hand for occasional use but dont use it in my regular routine. If there is ever a time where I feel like I'm sunburnt or my skin is chapped or something I use this. It makes a huge difference - just can't use it all the time

My skin LOVES this product. I have dealt with acne and skin irritation for years, trying almost every product out there, facials, etc. I found that twice a day was a little too much, but applying at night after washing and toning (with gentle products) has dramatically healed my skin barrier. My skin is less irritated, the acne I had has healed, post-acne spots are slowly fading, and my skin generally feels more hydrated.
Would buy again but not from Ulta
I have purchased this from other retailers in the past. I went in store at Ulta to buy it while it was on sale and didn't realize until I got home to use it that the product was completely separated. It just oozes liquid. I'll be returning it and checking any replacement before leaving the store or just buying it somewhere else. Reading other reviews on here, it seems this is a common issue at Ulta.

Water comes out every time I open it. I tried to knead the tube, but it is still is watery then dense product. Going to return. I normally love Avene products.
