Most Helpful Positive Review The Best Moisturizer EVER
I never leave reviews about products, but I felt compelled to write this today. I have been using this moisturizer for several months now, and I don't think I can ever live without it. I recently started medication for my acne-prone skin, and it was so difficult for me to find a moisturizer gentle enough for my now dry, flaky skin. Every moisturizer I tried would work for 10 minutes and then soak in and leave my skin irritated and drier than before. But this provides just the right amount of moisture, leaving my skin looking healthy and glowy all day long, which is a miracle for my skin right now! It also lasts a really long time--the tube may look small but a little bit goes a long way!
Most Helpful Critical Review For dry skin only
This product claims to be for all skin types, but I completely disagree. I have combination skin with oily T-zone, sensitive, and mild redness on cheeks. This product is very thick. I'm sure it's because you are suppose to use a good amount for a full sun protection. I would not mind it if it absorbs quickly, but unfortunately it doesn't. It takes 1-2 hours to absorb completely even in the Arizona dry climate. After it does absorb, it leaves my skin really soft. And a big big plus is that it does not cause my skin to break out or cause irritation to my sensitive skin (when used alone without layering). It did cause irritation when I layered it with a different product, so keep that in mind. I really wanted it work, but I don't like the heavy feeling on my face before it absorbs. I'm sure this would work very well on people with dry skin.

I have dry skin and I'm sensitive to certain SPFs. I don't know precisely what I'm sensitive to but some sunscreens make me REALLY itchy. This one luckily did not make me itch, and I don't think it messed with my make up. It was a little thick but that feeling did go away.
Would be the perfect SPF if it wasnt for the grease
Honey from Florida
This is almost perfect, there's NO white cast at all, and its very hydrating. I have very dry skin and I actually noticed a difference in dryness when I washed this off, my skin still felt moisturized. BUT the SPF in the product makes it very thick, so it doesn't absorb all the way. It stays very greasy like layer of melted butter on your face for hours until you take it off. If you're outside during the day, it gets really oily as you sweat too, plus it has a strong sunscreen smell, which isnt good bc since I wear my mask, the sunscreen gets in my mask and makes it smell like sunscreen too.
I recently bought just the moisturizer version and its way different. Its more lightweight and absorbs super quickly and is a better moisturizer overall
So light on your skin!

This is probably one of my fave sunscreen I've ever tried it goes into the skin so nicely and just feels great I do wish however the price was a little cheaper! But you only need a little bit and it works at least for me very nicely

Lightweight and does not make face look greasy. Highly recommend.
I really like it, good for dry skin and no white cast.
Ari from Los Angeles, CA
I have dry skin and this is amazing for that. This is moisturizing but absorbs fast, its not a really thick cream, good for dry skin, i have medium tan skin and there is no white cast, white or purple, there's also no thick greasy sunscreen feeling, really easy to blend in, it does have a little sunscreen smell but i have no problem with that.
Didn't work for my skin
AnnaC from Georgia
I heard such good things about this brand, and I was excited to try. While I loved the thing formula, it didn't agree with my skin. I experienced pimple irritations—multiple clumps of small clustered pimples all over my face. I also got contact dermatitis around my mouth. I wanted to love it, but, again, it didn't agree with my skin personally.

La Roche-Posay works great for me

I have multiple products from this brand and I've had such luck! my skin seems to just really like this brand. Nothing works for everyone but it's works on my combo skin.
BessyMmmm from Des Moines, IA
Be careful with this if you have oily skin. I noticed after using this as a pre-makeup moisturizer, my skin was super oily a couple of hours later. Also, even though I didn't apply it by my eyes, it stings my eyes and makes them water. I think some product rubbed off on my fingernails and got into my eyes that way.
A good morning moisturizer
Engy Soliman from Mclean va
It is a light moisturizer good in the morning specially if you are using Retinol at night
Good but still looking for more
Momo from Las Vegas
I use this as my AM moisturizer. It's a little bit thicker than I would prefer. I think I personally prefer keeping my moisturizer as a separate product to apply BEFORE my spf. This leaves you lots of options for spf (powder, zinc stick, spray, etc.) that you can also reapply easily. I have very sensitive, true combo skin and this product does not burn, even on my eye area which is great! Definitely gives a dewy finish. Give it a try, it's a great value!
1 of 3 items I would bring with me on a deserted island
Abs from FL
I am OBSESSED with this product. It is really absorbent into my skin with minimal white cast. It gives a great glow as well. NO need to use makeup here.
I use it EVERY single day. It would be one of the three items I would need on a deserted island.
Wanted to love it
Laura A from KC
I've used this a several different times and it balls up and pills horribly. I waited for my moisturizer to dry down for 30 mins and it still balls. I even applied it alone on dry skin after washing my face in the morning and it still balled up. Really bummed out because it smooths over skin much easier than the melt in milk spf and seems to dry down quicker. Also wish it was waterproof and sweat proof.
rosacea sufferers: Ignore the naysayers
Jamibc from Arkansas
I'm 50 yrs old & have suffered from mild rosacea since in my early 30's: this is one of the most wonderful moisturizers I've ever used. Taking into account that I have to constantly watch ingredient lists to make sure I don't have flareups are painful red splotchy Ness, this one has fit the bill and I'm about to buy my third or fourth container. That's pretty high praise. It is a double moisturizer with SPF 30 in it… It's packed with ceramides and niacinamide and prebiotic thermal water, all from a company that's been around for ages, recommended by dermatologists. So know what to expect when purchasing, know what it's geared towards (sensitive, rosacea, dry skin) before leaving negative reviews.
No white cast

So I like a

So I like a most things about this product. However, I don't like the scent and it tends to pill in my face routine. I will use it until it's out but probably not repurchase
Did not live up to expectations
OH from North Carolina
I began using this product a week ago and would give myself plenty of time in my morning routine to let it fully absorb before going out into the North Carolina humidity. I had been recommended this brand, but was not sure what to expect. The product takes a little bit of time to absorb and does have an SPF scent. It left my face looking glowy, but not necessarily shiny or greasy. I was skeptical until today when it was just a bit hotter out. I looked in the mirror at lunch and my face looked and felt extremely greasy. As someone who does not wear anything on my face (no makeup besides eye makeup), I do not like to have that heavy or tinted look.. so back to the drawing board I go.
Double repair facial moisturizer with SPF

I really like this moisturizer plus sunscreen. It doesn't break my face out.
Mem16 from 92626
My skin is always clear, with the exception of a few blemishes here and there. I started to use this and had the worst breakout of my life. Thought it was maybe my makeup, however I used it on my chest before I went to the beach and my chest broke out horribly. I've never had any blemishes on my chest in my entire 30 years of living. Would NOT recommend this product.
No white cast but painful acne
Sam from DC
This was a great texture, but it left me with three huge painful pimples. I've never had acne and this stuff destroyed my cheeks.
Jessica from South Carolina
After using this for two days, I have horrible stinging, itchy contact dermatitis all over my face, even my eyelids. My eyes have also been so irritated feeling since I started to use it. As a fair skinned redhead with rosacea I tried to do some research as to what would be the best moisturizers for my sensitive dry skin, and this was in the tops of the list for several different places. I'm so disappointed. I will be returning it.
Does not play nice
Product Junkie Mama from Ohio
I wanted to love this moisturizer so much, but unfortunately it does not play nice with other serums or in general. When first applying, it doesn't necessarily pill, but it leaves weird residue along my chin, jawline, and temples. It just doesn't absorb all the way in. I have to brush the excess off, but once that's off, it DOES leave a really nice finish and my skin does feel well hydrated and comfortable. Forget about anything on top, even long after it's dried. Pill city :(
Gwen from Texas
I expected so much more from this moisturizer. I generally have high expectations for LRP, this was a fail. It's too highly rated on here, I should have read critical reviews, they speak the truth.
I wanted a one step SPF moisturizer combo and thought this would be it. But it pills so badly! I've tried to reduce the number of layers I use under it but it will always eventually pill. Putting a thicker mineral sunscreen over it like Kinship helps prevent pilling for a bit, but I was hoping this would be fine as a standalone inside day daily moisturizer. No white cast, texture is like a typical sunscreen, not the most hydrating. Solidly meh in that regard. Also it burns your eyes if you sweat or rub them. SO not worth it. There are better other options out there. save your money.
I loved the product
marinam83 from undisclosed
I loved the product at first, as it was very moisturizing and had spf. However, it does not work well with oily or combo skin. By the end of the day, my face is greasy. It also pills like crazy.
