Simplifies My Skin Care Routine

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] First off, I love kits like this that target specific skin conditions with everything you need as it can be difficult and confusing to figure out what products to use in your skin care routine when having breakouts or other issues. This rea...lly targeted my hormonal acne that seems to have taken up permanent residency on my face. I was excited to try this after pretty much trying everything under the sun to keep the acne at bay. I started off with step one which is the cleanser. It has 2 percent salicylic acid in it. I put this all over my forehead and chin area as that is where my breakouts occur. I do sometimes suffer from dry skin in certain areas on my face so I only put this product in the areas that I really needed it to not dry out my face worse. The cleanser has a good thickness to it to not make it runny and it lathers well. It felt good on the skin with no burning sensation and had little to no smell. After washing my face with the cleanser, I moved on to step 2: the toner. It also has salicylic acid in it but a much smaller amount and this product helps to minimize and unclog pores. It is much thinner in consistency as it is a toner and seeps right into the skin almost immediately to target those problem areas. I kept this product mostly on my cheeks and around my nose. Finally, I moved on to product number three included in the kit: the moisturizer. I am no stranger to the LA Roche Posay because they are that good and everyone should have it in their skin care routine. It glides on like butter and immediately seeps into the skin to nourish it. No more dry skin over here. Your skin always feels so soothing and soft as soon as you apply it. It never feels heavy or greasy and is so lightweight. Honestly, it's heavenly. Final thoughts: The cleanser cleared up the acne on my chin and all the redness dotted on my forehead. I still get breakouts there every now and then but they are way less noticeable as the redness has dissipated and they disappear within a few days now instead of lasting weeks for me. I did start using the cleanser every few days and have built up to every other day currently as to not completely dry out my skin and it has worked amazing at keeping the acne at bay with the frequent use. I think once I build up to everyday, it may diminish it completely. The toner is nice. It does target deep in your pores to make them smaller. I have noticed the most difference on my cheek area where my pores were becoming more pronounced. I don't know if the product just cleaned out my pores or if it shrank them, but either way I am happy about it. The moisturizer is amazing and easily one of the best you can have in your skin care routine. It's that good. Love the kit and the products included. I feel it really helps to simplify the process and make it easy to understand what you need in your routine. Would make for awesome gifts for the holidays as it is such good quality from this brand for a great price.
