They're small but incredibly stubborn, and I believe they are caused by temperamental skin cells that won't properly slough off with cleansing or physical exfoliation. Introducing this La Roche-Posay acne medication has really helped keep these in check! It's the only salicylic acid product I have in my regimen and it's perfect for targeting these problematic areas for me. And it doesn't absolutely wreck my skin like other salicylic acid products have in the past. As long as I follow my regular skincare routine with moisturizer, my face remains flake and red patch free! It's got a lotion-like consistency and goes on smooth and thin, and spreads and blends down into the skin easily. You can put it on and go out minutes later and no one is going to be able to see that you're actively treating your acne. There's no weird chemical or minty smells that would give you away, and it's the perfect size to slip into your purse to take with you virtually anywhere! The application is also excellent—a gentle squeeze is all that is needed to get a dollop of product out of the tapered nozzle. And a little goes a long way! All in all, it's been a very welcome addition to my skincare routine!
