Step 1: Sharpen the lip pencil to a fine point before use for the most precise application.

Step 2: Starting at the cupid's bow, trace the outer edge of your lips. Follow your natural lip line, or overline slightly for a fuller appearance.

Step 3: Fill in the entire lip with the pencil for longer-lasting color and a base for lipstick or gloss.

Step 4: Apply lip gloss or lipstick on top for added shine and color depth.

Pro tip: For a fuller look, line just outside your natural lip line and blend inward with a lip brush. To keep lips defined all day, fill in the entire lip before applying gloss. NYX recommends Butter Gloss lip gloss to finish the look.

To remove, use a gentle oil-based makeup remover or micellar water.
