Great product, horrible packaging
Since the bottle changed some years ago, evey single bottle I have purchased the sprayer has broken and ive had to transfer the product to a different bottle. It's really annoying. Otherwise this is a good product. After I blow dry/flat iron, I spray a little on each section before curling and my curls typically last for days. I have thick 3b curls that I straighten.
Good product, Bad packaging design
This holding spray works as advertised. I have super long hair and it does not hold curls well, so this product helps my curls last longer. However, the spray mechanism is extremely hard to use. Any leftover hairspray after using it clogs the actuator and makes it sticky and hard to press down. I have to constantly clean it to mitigate the sticking, and even then it has a lot of resistance. I think the product would be 10x better if its packaging worked with the product instead of against it.

I have straight hair and need some curl. I use hot curlers along with this hot spray. It holds the curlers in place and provides a nice firm curl.
Bad results
Hair Type Wavy Hair
I have long, past bra strap, thick, wavy, frizz prone Caucasian hair. I normally use Morrocan oil perfect defense- which I love; but I wanted to try something that might offer more hold. So I tried the Kendra platinum spray. Fragrance- generic hairspray type smell. Not offensive or hard to breathe so ok. Pump- mediocre. Coverage was ok. You will definitely get more even distribution out of Morrocan oil, perfect hair day, or OGX. So I styled my hair with a curling iron on 375. When I went to break the cast, my hair felt dry and kind of sticky. The curls weren't breaking up nicely and my ends were tangling. By the end of the day, the curls had mostly fallen out and my ends were a dry/tangled mess. TBF my hair doesn't hold curl well in humid environments with anything but my normal products don't make my hair feel trashed like the Kendra did. I tried once more spraying less product than the 1st time- same crappy result. Returned. Had to use a deep conditioning mask to get my hair to feel nice again. Never again.
