There are serious issues with the spring that allows you to open and close the iron to curl. It's like the spring gets too hot, softens, and ends up stuck and the iron won't close all the way to secure the hair. I use the tool the way it is intended. wont hold a curl for me
I was so excited to get this and I wanted to love it it's beautiful curls at first but within an hour they're just flat and falling looks like I have straight hair after a couple hours and I tried the one and a half and the one and a quarter no difference sucks I have to take this back especially how expensive it is

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This Bio Ionic 1.5" Long Barrel Curling Iron has officially earned a spot in my routine 🔥 The longer barrel is perfect for quick styling and gives me loose, smooth curls that actually last. The cord has plenty of length so I can move easily around to curl each strand. I love the design at the top of the barrel to hold on to ..it is so much easier to grip and hold steady. I had fun learning and playing around with different styles over the weeks I have been testing this out. Its easy to store away when its cooled off and Im ready to go. Overall..my hair feels shiny, not fried, and the curls come out so soft and natural looking. If you love easy, polished waves, this one's a win 💖
Used less than 10 times and it does not turn on
Livid. I rarely use this curling iron. I've had for three months and used less than ten times. I had great results when I did use it. It's Christmas Day and I wanted to curl my hair, and the curling iron will not turn on. It still looks new and shows no sign of use. Given Ultas horrible return policy i will probaly have to deal with the manufacturer.
Convenient longer barrel
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I really appreciate how user-friendly this styling tool feels in my hand. The extra-long barrel makes reaching the back of my hair incredibly fast and convenient. It saves me so much time during my morning routine since I can wrap larger sections of hair at once. While the curls didn't last quite as long as I hoped, it's still a great choice for achieving effortless, loose waves.
Do not recommend
This has been the worst curling iron I've ever owned. Barrel broke in half while using! only had this iron for a year.
