There are serious issues with the spring that allows you to open and close the iron to curl. It's like the spring gets too hot, softens, and ends up stuck and the iron won't close all the way to secure the hair. I use the tool the way it is intended. Love the Length

My hair is really long, so it's nice that this is a longer barrel. I haven't curled my hair in a long time, so I'm still not used to using a curler.

This curling iron is not heavy, and the 9-foot swivel cord makes it very easy to handle. I really like the size of the barrel because it allows me to wrap more hair per section compared to other curling irons I've tried. Very comfortable to hold! Heats up fairly quickly, I was impressed by that! It gave me defined waves and volume which is exactly what I was hoping for! I highly recommend this product. I received this Bio Ionic 1.5" Long Barrel Curling Iron as a complimentary sample to test and review. The first thing I thought when I saw the long barrel was, "There is no way that'll work on my hair." I was pleasantly surprised that it did work on my hair and that it did a good job. It was super easy to use. It is not noisy at all. I do recommend this product for any person in your life who curls their hair.
