After using the r.e.m beauty glossy balm in shade "shirley" for six months I have gathered the overall experience of wearing glossy balm. For the first three months, I loved it. It gave me the most beautiful flush of color while nourishing my lips and adding an UMPH to a natural glam or full glam....

The blue one will change your lips to a fuchsia purple. Like a bright fuchsia purple. I just wasn't told it would do that lol. And also it stings a little upon application. Idk if that's supposed to happen…

This gloss has quickly become my go-to. I got the shade cherry cola which is a bit deeper toned but still a very wearable red shade. Its slightly sheer but you can definitely build up the pigment. IT IS SO GLOSSY!!! Smells like sweet, warm vanilla and I absolutely love it. It can be pretty sticky, but I feel like that's to be expected with any lip gloss. I usually wear it with their lip stain in booked n busy, and I put a thin coat of lip balm underneath. It always looks so smooth! Almost out of my first tube and I can't wait to repurchase!!!
FINALLY A GREAT GLOSS!
I received this product in the color Shirley as part of a free sample with my Ulta purchase. I had never heard of REM Beauty, so I set it aside to give to a friend's daughter. It was sitting on my vanity and I impulsively grabbed it to try and I'm SO glad I did! My lips are so soft and moisturized after wearing for 1 day. It lasts a long time, only needing to be reapplied after eating or drinking. I've been trying to find a good gloss after Lorac discontinued my favorite several years ago. This is as good or better than my holy grail. Shirley came across as a sheer warm pink on my lips. I prefer cooler tones, so I'll be buying other colors so I have options. I will always have one of these in my purse!
