After using the r.e.m beauty glossy balm in shade "shirley" for six months I have gathered the overall experience of wearing glossy balm. For the first three months, I loved it. It gave me the most beautiful flush of color while nourishing my lips and adding an UMPH to a natural glam or full glam....

Allergic Reaction
This was my first time purchasing anything from REM Beauty, and I had wanted the Fembot glossy balm for a while now. I purchased it, and when I had went to apply it i noticed my tongue and throat felt like they were swelling. Nothing insane or anything, but it was strong enough for me to know and feel in my body that there was some ingredient in this gloss that gave me a reaction. I consider myself a person with sensitive skin, but I have never had issues in my life with any lip product giving me this sort of reaction. The gloss itself smelt fine, like vanilla. So I don't think it was expired. However they formulate this gloss did not agree with my body. In terms of how the gloss felt on the lips, i thought it was sticky but not stringy. The fembot gloss itself was a bit of a letdown because i thought the promo pictures made this gloss look a lot more duochrome and reflective than it actually was in person. It just had blue glitter suspended in a light pink gloss. I would avoid this gloss if you suspect you are sensitive to makeup in anyway.
Leaves nice tint
I use this as a semi get ready lip stick for work. It leaves a nice color tint that's not too much but looks like enough to be ready. It lasts a while but you do have to reapply after a few hours. Overall I am happy with the color and the product.
Cherry Soda
Glossy balms are the perfect causal gloss that has some color. It's not sticky with a pretty pay off. The cherry color is a really pretty red and a fantastic edition as a go to. Would recommend!
