Section wet hair and distribute 1-2 quarter sized amounts onto fingertips, raking from ends to roots. Scrunch or finger coil to encourage curl pattern. Diffuse or air dry. For extra moisture, pair with OCOA Hydrating Curl Cream.

holy grail gel
i love this gel so much! it layers perfectly and leaves my hair defined for days afterwards! it doesn't weigh my curls down like some other gels do.
Styling gel
Love the tropical scent of the styling gel. Paired it with the curl cream (that felt heavy on my 4a/b hair - usually use mousse and gel). I would like to try it on its own and with a leave in conditioner, im sure ill get a better result. The hold is medium and I need a little more, but will keep and try different combos. Bottle is hard to squeeze product from with wet hands.

I didn't expect this product to do much for my hair since it is medium hold. But it actually defined my curls very nicely. I also paired this with the curl cream. While I won't get much from this in a wash-and-go, it works for stretched styles

I have wavy hair, but only for the last 5 year or so... and it has been A JOURNEY to find the right styling tools. lots of products make my hair look stringy or weigh it down too much. until now I was using miss Jessie's jelly soft gel bc I had (irrational ?!) fears about using a gel that was too crunchy. with this ocoa gel, those fears are gone!! the hold is great. I get amazing day-2 hair. wrp over and over forever
