A Few Pro Tips Before You Color: Your hair doesn't need to be squeaky-clean, but it should definitely be free of heavy styling products. (They can coat the hair and block the color from working to its maximum.) Hair color and activator should be at room temperature before mixing. Love your linens? Feel free to use a darker towel and pillowcase after the first couple of washes to keep them protected from any color transfer. If your hair is chemically straightened, relaxed, or permed, we recommend waiting two weeks to color after your last chemical treatment.

My hair is light brown. When I have darkened it in the past it had a greenish grey color especially on my ends. How do I get to a dark mocha or espresso brown with out the greenish grey color?
- Asked by Darker hair needed
- Official Answer By Madison Reed - SyndicationWe’d love to help you with this hair color journey. This will be a two-step coloring process to gorgeous results. When going lighter in color or if your hair has faded to a lighter color, tone and pigment are removed from the hair. In order to go darker, those tones and pigments need to be reintroduced back into the hair in order for maximum tonal result and color longevity. We suggest you add warmth back into your hair with our prior to using permanent or demi permanent color. Our Miele Gloss is a great way to add the needed warmth back to the hair before coloring with a darker shade. For the application, we'd recommend applying Gloss first over the previous lighter sections. Let the color process for 25 minutes. After that, rinse and shampoo. Once your hair is dry, you can apply the darker shade of your choosing. I hope this is helpful for you. Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns about this process. Was this answer helpful to you

I used this and it made my hair too dark, I don't like it at all. How do I remove it without taking all of my natural hair color.
- Asked by Dp
- Official Answer By Madison Reed - SyndicationHi, we are so sorry to hear the results were darker than expected. ColorWonder is a temporary demi-permanent hair color and will fade and lighten with shampoo. To speed up this process we suggest using an over-the-counter clarifying shampoo. Clarifying shampoos are designed to help remove product or environmental build-up from the scalp and hair and as a result, takes out color molecules pretty quickly as well - helpful when trying to lighten up the color! Was this answer helpful to you

My hair never holds color. It does on the top of my hair, but not anywhere else within like two washes it's out. Do you think I would need to bleach my hair before using this or do you think it will hold in my hair?
- Asked by Rose
- Official Answer By Madison Reed - SyndicationHello! Each person's hair is unique, and the longevity of hair color can vary based on your specific hair type and care routine. For enhanced color retention, we recommend washing your hair with cool to lukewarm water and using a shampoo specifically formulated to protect color-treated hair. It's important to note that lightening your hair may increase porosity and might actually accelerate color fading. Was this answer helpful to you

This makes going grey a game changer!
This year I made the decision to grow out my greys. It started with putting my MR subscription on hold for 3 months. Then a few weeks ago I saw my stylist to have all of the color past my new grow out bleached. Over the past two weeks I've been getting used to it being blond but really just wanted t...

Easy to mix and apply, this color provided a deep golden-fire depth and some serious eye-catching ooh-la-la to the hair. The color is spectacular -- and I think it would work with so many different skin tones and eye colors. I'll be sticking with this one for awhile! If you're on the fence? This is you sign to go for it! It is just hair. Have some fun!
Loved the color!

Very easy application! Reminded me.of being in middle school when we all used to box dye our hair, of course, with much better results, using Madison Reed! The only thing I ran into, was almost, NOT having enough product for my entire head. I applied it light because right away it looked like there wasn't going to be enough product. I have very thick hair. I will definitely purchase again. I might have to purchase two bottles to get complete coverage. The color I used had a very nice, rich brown tone.
Great color - wish it lasted longer

I love this color and Madison Reed's color match is quite accurate. It was very easy to apply. MR provides all of the necessary accoutrements (gloves, post application cleaning wipes, treatment preserves). The color was easy to mix and there was no mess. The only "con" I identify is the quick wash out. I immediately noticed less color after 3 or 4 shampoos, and this was after I used the seal as directed.

I would not recommend this product to anyone with Silver/Grey hair. I did a test on the back of my head just to be safe and I am glad I did because it turned my hair blue.
