How To Use

Instructions are included in every Bleach, Please kit and should be followed closely. For the best results:

  • The hair should be at least slightly dirty (one day or longer since last wash), dry, and detangled.
  • Mix together bleach and developer until it is a creamy, even consistency with no lumps. DO NOT use a metal bowl or metal tools.
  • Then, using a hair applicator, brush the bleach mixture onto the hair in small sections for even coverage. Avoid contact on the scalp when applying the bleach. Do not brush hair close to the scalp right before applying bleach, as it can open up microscopic cuts in the scalp and increase sensitivity and burning during the bleaching process. To avoid hot roots, apply bleach to the mids and ends of the hair first, and leave roots for the last step, as they will lift quicker.
  • After all your sections are fully saturated, go back and apply the bleach to roots and any missed spots. Any leftover bleach mixture must be discarded.
  • Wait 15-45 minutes, checking your hair every 5 minutes while processing.
  • Rinse out thoroughly in lukewarm water once you've received your desired level of lift, or after 45 minutes to ensure the safety of your hair.
  • Once you've rinsed all the bleach out with lukewarm water you can then apply shampoo and wash it once more. After which a deep conditioner is highly recommended to keep hair from drying out further which may lead to unnecessary breakage.
  • If you're just bleaching your roots, be careful to not apply bleach over previously bleached hair to avoid damage.

Precautions: Read all directions and warnings before application.

  • Do not use if you have a sensitive, itchy or damaged scalp.
  • Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
  • Do not get mixture in eyes; to do so may cause blindness. If mixture gets into eyes rinse immediately with lukewarm water and seek medical attention immediately.
  • If you need to wear contact lenses during application and mixture gets into eyes, remove lenses first, then flush immediately with lukewarm water. If irritation persists, get medical attention.
  • Wear disposable gloves when applying.
  • Do not cover or apply heat while the product is in your hair.
  • Thoroughly rinse hair application.
  • Do not ingest.
  • Keep out of reach of children. Do not apply on children.
  • Wash hands thoroughly after use.
  • Do not use on facial hair or eyebrow hair.
  • Do not use on hair that has been previously treated with bleach, highlights, or ombre.
  • Do not use on hair that has been processed with straightener or relaxer.
  • Do not use on brittle, damaged hair.
  • Do not use over metallic dyes, color restorers, compound hennas or hennas.
  • Discard any unused mixture of bleach and developer. Do not store prepared mixture, as the container may burst.
  • Do not shampoo hair for two days prior to lightening as this can lead to scalp sensitivity.
  • Wait at least two weeks before using this product on a new perm.
  • Do not apply any bleach more than once in 48 hours. Allow at least 3 weeks to elapse between lightening applicators to avoid sensitivity and breakage.
  • Use only plastic or glass utensils, clips or combs; never metal.
  • Do not mix the components of this kit with any other product.
  • Store and use at room temperature (50 to 80 degrees F)

Q
How long do this color last, as in how many times do I have to re-apply the product?
Asked by Rob
Official Answer By Arctic Fox - Brand Engage
Hello! Great question! How long the color lasts depends on many factors such as the specific color you are using, the level of the hair underneath, the porosity of your hair and your personal haircare regimen, but on average the color can last between 4-8 weeks for the majority of our customers with pre-lightened hair, and closer to just 2-4 weeks on unbleached hair. We have formulated our color to be one of the longest-lasting semi-permanents available, but for the best results, you will have to take care of your color. Here are some tips that might help with the longevity: Shampoo in cold water (as cold as you can stand it) Use AF sulfate-free, color-safe shampoo and conditioner Use AF dry shampoo in between washes (frequent shampooing will fade the color) Stay away from alcohol-based styling products (they are drying and will fade the color) Avoid high heat styling Know that if you go swimming your hair color may be stripped almost immediately, especially in chlorinated water Add in a bit of color to your shampoo and/or conditioner to keep your color fresher longer! Was this answer helpful to you

First time use. Did not use toner.

I am attempting a platinum/silver final color WITHOUT using toner (less chemicals) This bleach worked as advertised and does not include applicator brush. I started w/ dirty blonde hair and it did pretty great at removing the color. *PROCESS: We applied with gloves hands in layers with foil for the ...

I bleached my hair for the first time today

I'm not one to write reviews but I here I am at 2:30 in the morning, writing one after what just happened to me. I ran out of unicorn hair bleach for the right side of my head and applied Arctic fox (probably a terrible idea overall to mix two different brands but that's beside the point) with Arct...

I have tried many many different kinds of hair dyes. This one was the first in years using different products that gave me allergic reaction severe itching and red rashes that were unbearable. I had to take it off after 10 minutes. I wasted money i could have bought two boxes for that price from a different brand, any brand but this one. I do not recommend for full platinum hair look.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

This was the worst bleach I've ever used and would not recommend to anyone. I burnt my scalp so bad when applying to the roots I could only leave in for a few minutes. Afterwards it was very copper orange and I had to reply the next day with more toner. It got a tad bit lighter after the next bleach but not by much. Then I used the toner which was t18 and the developer was 20 left this on for 30 minutes as recommended but Arctic Fox did not take this. Still orange hair and will have to dye it brown. Not happy with this brand at all.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Arctic Fox Mayor Fail!!! Wouldn't Recommend!

I've used Arctic Fox since it first came out, this was the first time using the bleach kit, after not bleaching my hair since 2020 I decided to use this kit. I was only trying to lighten my long bangs, "money pieces" It was so hard to mix the developer and the bleach. I started on virgin hair, and started from the bottom and finished of at the top. It was lighting unevenly, I kept checking it every so often but wasn't going to risk any more damage. When I went to wash it off, my hair felt so rough, like sandpaper it was hard to wash off, felt gunky, thankfully a good deep conditioning helped. But now I'm stuck with uneven hair.

I lot of people complain about lumps. The secret to not getting lumps is add a little bit of toner to the cream, mix it up until it's a paste and then add more toner (just a bit), mix that up and continue. You won't have lumps at all, very effective.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
