Separated, Do Not Buy
I bought a tube of this after reading rave reviews about restoring your skin barrier. I opened the tube and had a bunch of blue water squirt out. This solution is impossible to emulsify with the cream and it's messy and you feel like your money is literally going down the drain. I would not repurchase. Quality and price do not align. I understand that there can be issues if a product freezes, but that should be on Ulta and the brand to manage, it is not okay to knowingly give your customers a faulty and inconsistent product.
My Best Friend
This was purchased with the intention to add to my tret nights. It has been helpful to buffer the intensity of my tret and lightens the irritation by a lot. My preferred method is slathering this on my face, almost like a face mask, and sleep with it on. When I wake up, my skin is soft, supple and zero irritation.
Not good for my truly acne prone skin
I started having breakouts as soon as I used it. I waited for over 30 days to make sure it wasn't just purging. My skin reverted back to high school. It was not moisturizing enough for my skin at all. Felt dry and tight within a couple of hours. Could be great for someone but not me.
I want this product so badly! In the large size!
First and foremost; i LOVE and own many Aveene products & this prdouct. However, i mistakenly purchased both 1.3oz and 3.3oz in the same day- thinking the 1.3oz was a different product. When i opened the 3.3oz, some blue liquid came out and i hurried and closed it. I shook it and it sounds like melted ice is in the tube. Frustrating, but i was just going to return it and get a new one the next day. I went to open the other product, realizing in that moment that it was the same as the large one. I shake it and it doesnt have the same sound as the large one, so i squeezed some cream out and applied it - Love Love Love. Amazing. Product is fine. When i returend the 3.3oz i looked for another, the others at the store had the same consistency issue, i shook all of the boxes in stock. So BE WARNED; the 3.3oz has a consistency issue but for whatever reason the smaller ones don't? Atleast the one i got. Problem is i want the LARGE bottle because i love this product and i would rather get the value size. (BTW shaking the product does nothing benefical, the product is clearly broken) What the heck Aveene!! Lets figure it out.
