Is this fungal acne safe?

- Official Answer By cocokind - Brand EngageHi! The FDA considers fungal acne to be a medical condition, so I can't give product or ingredient recommendations specifically for that. We recommend seeing a dermatologist for fungal acne as none of our products are formulated to treat it. Our ceramide barrier serum is suitable for all skin types, including breakout-prone skin. It supports skin’s natural ceramide production and provides deep hydration. We also recommend the postbiotic acne serum. It treats and prevents acne, blackheads, and clogged pores. It also hydrates and supports skin barrier. You can use both serums together although it isn’t necessary. If you would like to use both serums at the same time, we recommend applying the acne serum first because it’s lighter than the ceramide serum.Was this answer helpful to you

Is this safe to use under the cocokind retinol?

Our ceramide barrier serum is an excellent product to pair with our beginner retinol gel in your nighttime routine, providing hydration and barrier support through the ceramide serum. We recommend applying retinol before serum, but if you’re super concerned about irritation, you can apply retinol after the ceramide barrier serum to act as a buffer between your skin and the retinol. I've been using this product regularly (at night I'm about 2/3 through my bottle) and follow the instructions. I use the raspberry toner (which is amazing for breakouts btw!), let it dry a tad and then apply the ceramide barrier serum followed by the polypetide moisturizer. I honestly haven't notice...

my holy grail
My skin has been acting up for the past year — breakouts, blackheads, irritation, you name it — and absolutely nothing was getting it to stop. Except, of course, this product. I've been using it again for about a month, but within the first few days, I noticed a significant difference in the elasticity and texture of my skin. It was softer, smoother, bouncier, and most importantly, irritation and acne free. I can't recommend it enough, especially in conjunction with other Cocokind products. Thank you for fixing my skin!
STAPLE IN MY ROUTINE
since i started using this serum my skin has been so glowy and hydrated. im honestly obsessed, i have sensitive skin and it did not irritate it at all!! def give it a try!!

Ive used this for about a week and I like it. I like the consistency and I havent had a bad reaction. Its moisturizing but not sticky. Hopefully its helping my skin barrier.
not for the sensitive skin
sincd my first use i always had minor stinging when hsing this product around my nose and cheek area, but the more oroducts i had underneath it, the more likely and intense the burnimg sensation is. i see im not the only one who has had this reaction, but ive narrowed down to when as soon as this serum is used and on those sensitive spots, red and burns badly. on the non sensitive parts of my face i really liked the texture and application and how it felt. i just wish it didn't cause such insane burning :( recommend to people without sensitive skin/ easily compromised barrier
Bad reaction
I wanted to love this product but unfortunately after each use my face became very red, inflamed, and had a burning sensation. Had to return. Im sure it works well for people without sensitive skin though.
