Apply using Ouidad's Rake & Shake technique. Divide damp hair into sections. Rake a nickel-size amount of gel through each section, using fingertips to seal and smooth the cuticle from roots to ends. When finished, hold the ends of hair in each section and shake to create curls. Let hair air-dry or blow-dry with a diffuser.

This was my perfect gel! The new formula does not work well for me- I feel like I need to use MUCH more per application for the same definition, and the hold does not last all day. Hair Type Very Curly Hair
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] It helps make the curls more defined and softer. And importantly, it's silicone free so it's less likely to make hair greasy. Maintain the natural curl pattern when perming. When the gel dries, the hair may feel a little stiff. Use your hands to gently massage the hair to make it soft. Suitable for naturally curly or permed hair.
