Apply using Ouidad's Rake & Shake technique. Divide damp hair into sections. Rake a nickel-size amount of gel through each section, using fingertips to seal and smooth the cuticle from roots to ends. When finished, hold the ends of hair in each section and shake to create curls. Let hair air-dry or blow-dry with a diffuser.

This was my perfect gel! The new formula does not work well for me- I feel like I need to use MUCH more per application for the same definition, and the hold does not last all day. Leaves my hair feeling silky smooth throughout the day and leaves my curls looking amazing all day long. The photo of my hair is just by using this product alone and air drying! The formula is super buildable, so I can use a little for soft definition or layer more for extra hold without my curls feeling stiff. The scent is clean and salon-like without being overpowering, and it keeps my hair smooth even in humid weather. I also love the packaging because the bottle dispenses product easily without making a mess. Best part? It leaves very little residue or crunch once my curls dry and scrunch out.

I applied to gel to wet hair and then used a diffuser to dry my hair. Very happy with the results and I will continue using this product!
