Apply using Ouidad's Rake & Shake technique. Divide damp hair into sections. Rake a nickel-size amount of gel through each section, using fingertips to seal and smooth the cuticle from roots to ends. When finished, hold the ends of hair in each section and shake to create curls. Let hair air-dry or blow-dry with a diffuser.

I have wavy, fine 2B/2C hair with curlier hair below and straighter on top. After my shower, I put a heat/humidity gel from Ouidad on wet hair, John Frieda touch up creme and hair spray on dry hair. My hair looks good until a few hours later when the waves have completely fallen out and have frizzed. I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong or what product am I missing?

This was my perfect gel! The new formula does not work well for me- I feel like I need to use MUCH more per application for the same definition, and the hold does not last all day. [I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I've been using Ouidad Advanced Climate Control Heat & Humidity Gel for a few wash days now and it honestly lives up to the hype. The formula is super buildable, so I can use a little for soft definition or layer more for extra hold without my curls feeling stiff. The scent is clean and salon-like without being overpowering, and it keeps my hair smooth even in humid weather. I also love the packaging because the bottle dispenses product easily without making a mess. Best part? It leaves very little residue or crunch once my curls dry and scrunch out.

This Ouidad heat and humidity gel works to define curls and prevent any frizz. I really liked how my curls sprung up after applying this and how well shaped they were. I applied to gel to wet hair and then used a diffuser to dry my hair. Very happy with the results and I will continue using this product!
