- Official Answer By Ouidad - Brand EngageStart with a quarter-size amount of Moisture Lock® Leave-In Conditioner and apply to wet or damp hair. Avoid the scalp area and do not rinse out. This formula can also be used for added moisture after styling. Follow with Advanced Climate Control® Heat & Humidity Gel and apply using Ouidad's Rake & Shake technique: Divide damp hair into sections. Rake a nickel-size amount of gel through each section. When finished, hold the ends of hair in each section and shake to create curls. Let hair air-dry or blow-dry with a diffuser.Was this answer helpful to you

Good leave in, mediocre gel
Hair Type Very Curly Hair
I really like the leave it, it is very moisturizing and doesn't dry my hair out. The gel on the other hand, has very light hold. For reference I have fine 3a/b hair and usually need a medium to strong hold gel. This would probably be really good for wavy hair because it is really light weight and won't make your hair crunchy.
