Most Helpful Positive Review My go to facial product
I love this for my daily facial moisturizer. It has great sun protection but is gentle to the skin. It also does NOT clog pores. If I could only have one product for my face, this would be it.
Most Helpful Critical Review Grease Face
I really wanted this product to be my new go-to face SPF, but it is WAY too greasy. My face feels slimy and slick. I put it on and it looks like I put oil on my face. My make does not set right and it looks like it just melts of my face throughout the day. I have used their face wash for years and like it, but I just can't back this product. I know it can be done because there are some department store brands that have 50 SPF and there is no grease factor.

very heavy, doesn't soak in well.
leave it in my car for emergencies
Nice formula but very irritating on sensitive skin

So, I hAve to admit this is by far the best spf moisturizer I've tried, as far as the finish/texture goes. It's very glowy. I have dry skin and it's the only thing that will actually give me nice dewy skin all day long even under makeup. However, it starting burning my face after a couple weeks. Like bad. I wish i could find a mineral spf moisturizer that was as hydrating on my skin cause my skin can't handle this one

I'm going to start using this instead of neutrogena. Less fragrance and less greasy shine on my face.
Love this moisturizer

I've used this moisturizer for years. I love Cetaphil products. I only use their face wash and moisturizers. The tube is not that big however a little goes a long way so it does last a long time in my opinion. I've seen some reviews saying it has a chemical smell or it burns/irritates. I've personally never had those experiences, have been using for years and will continue to do so. I have combo skin sometimes oily sometimes dry.
Favorite Daytime Moisturizer
Elle from TN
Works perfectly, and it's two products in one. Very budget friendly. I have normal skin and this causes me 0 issues.
I would definitely buy this product again!!!
angelina from Florida
I love using this moisturizer. I use it in the morning and throughout the day. Most moisturizers with sunscreen have weird consistencies and feel very greasy on your face but this one feels amazing on the skin!

Greasy & leaves a white cast
Naomi from Fresno ca
My skin is very acne prone and since I've been using this product my skin has not broken out as bad as it always has! Since I've been using this moisturizer I have been getting compliments on my skin! Will leave your skin white looking but just make sure you blend it in and you'll have no problem!
Lo P from Oklahoma City
This product makes my skin so shiny. I have tired it with and without make up and when I put it under makeup it's not good. Makes my make up looks greasy. It also leaves some what of a white cast although this isn't my main issues with the product.
Nelly from Arizona
Its very oily so avoid it if you already have oily skin.
PERFECT DOUBLE PROTECTION!!!!

I have to use sunscreen because of my ability to turn into a lobster if I am in the sun too long. However, it is hard to remember that when your moisturizer doesn't have it. I bought this one since it is summer and I didn't like looking like a lobster. Even when I forgot to put on sunscreen, this moisturizer worked perfectly! I have combination normal to oily with some dry patches and this has survived sweaty work shifts and a trip to the beach!
Not for people of color
Dia from New York
So I'm latino with like a medium light skin tone, and this product leaves a white overlay on top of your skin. Like it's noticible that you're wearing a white cream. I can't imagen it looking weel on someone even two tones darker than me. But it does moisturize extremely well! I'm just not a fan of 'noticible' sunscreen. I wish they wouldve made this is sheer or daarker tones.

Gentle on skin and non greasy. Used it for years

Okay, so first off this product leaves a white cast. I have to put just a little bit of this and blend it with a moisturizer so that it doesn't leave me looking like a ghost. Second of all, when I run it comes off and gets in my eyes. Also, after running/sweating it turns white and melts off my face, and then dries up, leaving white powder all over my face. It also makes my face oily/greasy. The only good thing is that it's spf 50. I would only use if you have a pale skintone and/or normal skin type (not oily/combo.)
Pretty good, I didn't experience any adverse reactions
Kelsey M from Preston, Idaho
It did have a slight spf smell but it wasn't enough to bother me when I put it on. I did notice a little bit of a white cast when applied, however it never lasted more than a few minutes for me. I bought this moisturizer on a whim because I needed something new and it was pretty good. I will admit it was a little more greasy than I would normally prefer but again, it didn't bother me. I tend to be pretty tolerable when it comes to moisturizers. I'm not sure if I happened to be drinking more water during the time I used up the bottle but I think it helped my skin tone even out a considerable amount. I'm currently trying a different Cetaphil moisturizer to see which of the two I like best, but I would consider buying this again regardless.
This is my third time buying this face lotion

I use it every morning after my shower to moisturize and provide sun protection for my face.

Smells like sunscreen but I don't mind it at all, leaves me moisturized for hours with out leaving me feeling super greasy or oily
Not the product I thought it was

I cannot find the product that I usually buy. I thought this would work, but it does not. There is less product in a smaller bottle, and it is more expensive.
Everything is great, if you like hives
Becky from NYC
I don't have the most sensitive skin, but I still wanted to try this because of the great reviews... after 15 mins of wearing it... my face was so itchy so I looked in the mirror.... and had hives all over 🙃 idk how to return to get my money back, it's so little for so much...
One of the BEST moisturizers EVER!

As a "Lupubug Lupus Warrior", I am photosensitive. So, I needed a great moisturizer coupled with a high SPF. Cetaphil is the absolute best.
Great moisturizer with SPF

Searching for a moisturizer with great SPF coverage since I work outdoors. So far this has been a fantastic choose at a great price.
Good, but there is probably better out there.
Sunkie from Long Beach, California
I use this product after showering and before I apply on makeup. It is a great base/primer and definitely is moisturizing. It lasts a long time and 1 pump goes a long way. However, I feel as it there has to be a greater moisturizer out there that maybe isn't so greasy/oily. I have extremely dry skin, but if you have oily skin - I would not recommend this to you. Overall it is a
Good for dry, and I mean DRY, skin
thevdub from Texas
I first used this about 10 years ago when I was 19 and had combination/oily skin. It was extremely heavy and greasy. Now I am breastfeeding my infant who has managed to suck all the moisture from my body leaving me with DRY PEELING FACE SKIN. this is SUPER hydrating and thick for that very purpose. If you have normal to oily skin, I would advise no. But definitely yes if your skin is parched. Even in this summer heat, my skin absorbs it all up and is not greasy or shiny at all. That should give you an idea of how dry your skin needs to be for this.

I have been looking for a moisturizer with SPF 50 that I can afford. This seemed perfect. After I purchased and it started reading the packaging it said only protects against burn not damage related to skin cancer and premature aging. Isn't that what spf infused moisturizers are supposed to do? Otherwise use sunscreen. I don't burn. I use spf daily to protect my skin from cancer and aging. Broad spectrum SPF UVA and UVB is supposed to protect against those things so I'm really confused why this says on the package. As for the product itself it moisturizes well and absorbs quickly. As with most SPF's it leaves a slight greasy feeling but I always put makeup on top of it anyway.
