Much better than their SPF 30 AM version

I'd always hoped that Cerave's AM formulas were as light and lovely as the PM, which in my opinion is one of the best moisturizers available, for efficacy & value. Looks good but smells awful

I recently switched from CeraVe's SPF 30 AM Moisturizer to this 50 SPF version, but I will definitely be going back to the SPF 30 version. New Favorite Sunscreen

I tried the SPF 30 version of this sunscreen a few years ago and found it balled up pretty bad when you rubbed it in. But I decided to try the SPF 50 version anyway, and I'm glad that I did. I love the texture which is very smooth. No balling up. It's hydrating and non-irritating. No eye burn, which is a biggie. There is some initial white cast, but I find that it disappears within 15 minutes of application. However, I'm fair complected. Someone dark complected might not like this sunscreen.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Light, effective SPF 50 sunscreen lotion without a sunscreen fragrance. I use it daily on chest, neck and hands. Absorbs well not greasy. Reasonably priced.

I like this because it doesnt make my rosacea worse, but sometimes it balls up and leaves white peely residue on my skin. It doesnt matter if ive just exfoliated or washed my face.
