    Comments about Dermalogica UltraCalming Cleanser:

I have struggled with acne FOR 10 YEARS and nothing I used ever worked. After using drug store acne brands for years and realizing they aren't doing that they say they will, I decided to invest in higher quality products. I walked in to Ulta and asked to talk to their esthetician. I told her all of the acne and sensitive skin problems I've had over the years and she immediately suggested the Dermalogica Ultra Calming skin care line. I couldn't believe it but, within a week my skin started to clear up and within a month my acne was gone! Although I'm all about a bargain, there's certain things that should be bought top quality and when it comes to your skin, don't mess around with cheap products. I would recommend the Dermalogica line to anyone who struggles with adult acne. This product changed my life.

            Comments about Dermalogica UltraCalming Cleanser:

I am a 57 year School Bus Driver that has extremely sensitive skin. In my endeavor to hunt down a good moisturizer, whenever I've tried moisturizers (yes even the expensive name brands), I tend to break out in rashes, blemishes, or white pearls. This Ultra Calming face wash is like magic! It soothes, calms and restores my skin back to normal. It's not cheap but it's definitely worth every dollar. In my thrifty times whenever I've run out of it and foolishly thought oh well I'll just use another face wash...... I suffer the consequences of dry, irritated and not happy skin.

            Comments about Dermalogica UltraCalming Cleanser:

My Ulta Estetition recommended this Ultra Calming Cleanser for me since I started suffering with Rosacea. It has been working so well. I use it every day in the shower and it is so easy and my face feels so clean. I know it is a little expensive but, it only takes a very small amount each time you use it. The bottle will last a long time!

              Comments about Dermalogica UltraCalming Cleanser:

I got this product originally for my skin after it had a reaction with a facial peel. I needed something ultra sensitive and great for the morning. this worked well until after I had that "situation" under control, my skin was going back to normal. and after continuing using this product, i started getting redness and my skin was itching after using this product. I am confused because its suppoed to be ultra sensitive..? Will be returning.

I deal with rosacea and I was looking for a cleanser that was going to help my sensitive skin in the winter. I deal with dryness as well. The first time I used this (as well as every time since), I couldn't believe how clean my face felt in the shower. On top of that, my face always appears less red when I get out of the shower! Amazing! My skin is left feeling smooth, balanced and moisturized. I will definitely buy again when I run out.

Can anyone offer a comparison of this to Rodan & Fields' Soothe treatment? I've had success with those products but they are SO expensive! I'm hoping to achieve some of the same results with a different product. Thanks in advance!

I am just wanting clear skin but dont want to go through all the hassle multiple products and using them in a step by step fashion. Is there anything you know of which might help?

I have dry/red/sensitive skin and am currently using the essential cleansing solution. It's great for keeping my face clean, doesn't aggravate my skin or make my dry skin worse, and keeping blemishes at bay. However, it is not fixing my dry skin. Would the Ultracalming Cleanser work more at repairing my dry skin? Should I make the switch to this cleanser?

Also, I have used the clear start scrub and recently tried the microfoliant scrub. I've also used active moist for my moisturizer.

                    Hello There:

Thank you for your interest in Dermalogica. Either Essential Cleansing Solution or Ultracalming Cleanser will be appropriate for cleansing. For moisturizing we recommend that you use Intensive Moisture Balance, this is for dry skin, it is thick, rich, helps to strengthen the lipid barrier, it also has antioxidants. The Active Moist that you are using is for oily skin. The Clear Start is formulated for teens with acne skin conditions. We recommend that you discontinue the use of the Active Moist and Clear Start Blackhead Clearing Pore Control Scrub. For exfoliation the Microfoliant is appropriate to use, you may use it on alternate days or daily if your skin responds well. Please let us know if you have any further questions.

                    Best Regards,
