vs stabilizing repair cream. I already use barrier cream at night. super dry/sensitive skin.
- Asked by EL
- Official Answer By Dermalogica US - Brand EngageHello, thank you for contacting Dermalogica. Calm Water Gel and Stabilizing Repair Cream are both moisturizers designed for sensitive skin, but they differ in their formulation and specific benefits. Calm Water Gel is a weightless water-gel moisturizer that hydrates dry, sensitive skin. Its refreshing gel formula transforms into a skin-quenching fluid upon application, forming a weightless barrier against environmental assault. On the other hand, Stabilizing Repair Cream is an ultra-soothing cream with actives that calm on contact, helping to break the pattern of sensitive skin as they immediately comfort and help skin become more resilient over time. It soothes on contact, repairs the skin’s lipid barrier, and strengthens skin to help keep signs of sensitivity at bay. Best Wishes, The Dermalogica TeamWas this answer helpful to you

I find that with oil free formulas ("gel moisturizers"), often my makeup, tinted moisturizers, and even creams I apply after, have a tendency to pill and separate a lot. Whatever I'm putting on after gel formulas will stick, clump, smear, and ultimately change in texture, making it nearly impossible to apply makeup without essentially removing what i can only assume is the "berrier"/residue from the gel, along with whatever else I'm trying to apply, even after giving the product hours to absorb. Is this because HA tends to be a bit sticky? My skin actually doesn't always love HA, but i wish it did. How would you describe the performance of this when used before applying makeup (lets say a liquid, with fingers or brushes)?

I recently got a light chemical burn on my face from a (non-Dermalogica) face wash. My skin is ultra dry, tight, and itchy. Would this be the best product to use to help treat? Or is there another product that would be better, or more products to use with this one? Thank you.
- Asked by SM

Combination/dry skin. I have red scaly patches around my nose that just flake off, I exfoliate/cleanse once and use a serum and then a moisturizer but it's not really making the flakey patches stop. Would this make it stop?
- Asked by Catsincups
- Official Answer By Dermalogica US - Brand EngageThank you for contacting Dermalogica. We highly recommend seeing a professional skin therapist or physician in person to get the best possible recommendations for your current skin concerns. However, if flakiness and red scales are appearing on the skin, it might be best to try Barrier Repair from our UltraCalming segment as this is a more occlusive product to protect skin. This product really blew me away

I have extremely dry skin fro...

Perfect for sensitive skin
My daughter has tried countless moisturizer and this is the only one that works for her extremely sensitive skin. I used it when I had a dermatitis flare up and it was amazing. It is lightweight and nourishing and smells like a spa. We will always be purchasing this for my daughter's skin.
