Cap broke before even the first use!!!
This review is about the packaging but I think people need to be aware of it! I have been a long time Tatcha user loved all the products I have tried which probably covers half of the product line until this one It's a shame that the problem is so basic and unexpected - The connecting part on the ca...

DONT BUY AT ALL
this was actually HORRIBLE. i used it and immediately i felt like my skin was itchy, and then after i started getting like small inflamed bumps all over my face. they looked like tiny mosquito bites. but i have no idea what ingredient was the issue but i DONT recommend this to anyone…
Cost vs efficacy
This is my first time trying Tatcha's Rice Wash and here is my unbiased review as someone with sensitive, eczema prone skin. The cleanser itself has a very soft grainy texture that offers mild exfoliation. Feels like youre buffing rather than full on exfoliating. The formula indeed feels creamy, hydrating, and gentle. It doesn't leave your skin feeling dry or stripped. Your skin feels clean and supple. Overall, the texture and experience is great! Approved for this girl's sensitive skin. Price: I'm not totally convinced that this cleanser is worth nearly $45-$50 (with tax). This is coming from someone who regularly invests in skincare and treatments, so I don't mind the cost as long as the efficacy is there. This is a premium price and while I do believe Tatcha is intentional about their formulas, I don't think the formula in this is powerful or special enough to actually improve your skin long term. As a face wash, you're leaving this on for a maximum of a few minutes at a time only to rinse it off completely. It struggled to remove my waterproof mascara, which given the price point, I'd expect it to handle. (I usually double cleanse but for the sake of trying this out, I skipped it). Overall, its a very nice face wash but not functional enough to justify the price. I think you can find similar face cleansers to this with great ingredients at half the price point.
Not great for me
I tried this when I was younger and it made me break out horribly. It took months for my skin to recover. I tried it again now and it's making me break out again. And this is not the purging type of breakout--it's a full on 'not great for my skin type' thing. I def won't be purchasing again. I have combination skin, get few pimples, some hyperpigmentation from old acne scars.
Literally perfect
This is genuinely the best cleanser ive ever used and i dont even write reviews like that, but ive bought so many products and this is one of the only ones i feel like deserves not only a review, but also 5 stars. Made my skin look naturally glowing within a week and this WILL be used in all my future routines
Great cleanser
I switched to the rice cleanser after using Tatcha's matcha cleanser due to winter drying out my skin. It's been a great transition, and my skin is more hydrated.
