Does nothing but sit on top of your lips
I bought this thinking that because it's a pretty thick mask that it would help with my perpetually chapped lips. This mask does nothing in terms of hydrating your pout; I would exfoliate my lips in the shower, use this lip balm, and be chapped again the next day. This may work well as a sealant on top of something else, but I am very underwhelmed by this mask.

Best I've used for very dry lips!
I've tried many gels/balms as my lips are extremely dry. I can't go one day without using something on my lips or they look very chapped and flake. I use Tatcha everynight and again in the morning but lightly before applying my lipstick. It helps so much as my lipstick goes on smoothly! I love the way my lips feel afterwards as they don't look chapped or dry.
Life saver and game changer
I suffered a really unfortunate chemical burn on my lips and in the corners of my mouth from retinal+sun exposure; the tingling plumping lip liner and gloss combo I was using in lieu of sunscreen I'm sure didn't help either…. I work at Ulta and tried countless healing/hydrating lip products and the Tatcha Kissu Lip Mask was the only thing that truly helped them heal. It also gave them a beautiful peachy glow and somehow concealed the unsightly burns on my lips. Love this product
