Most Helpful Positive Review Best Eye Primer For All Types I have used all of UD's eye primers & given them all a good shot. I used to use the og 4ever- until EDEN. Eden is the best EP I have ever used. I am 40 & have very hooded eyes. This color corrects- a lil goes a long way. I apply using my Sigma 3DHD precision brush & set w/flesh tone shadow or trans powder. Eden can be worn alone. No creasing. Lasts longer than all day. Locks in shadows. Worth the $ esp when on sale! This is the best EP Urban Decay makes- for any eye type.
Most Helpful Critical Review Can't use product It looks like there should be a doe foot applicator, but mine is apparently broken because all it has is a plastic stick. I don't know if it broke off in the tube or if it was just a defect, but I can't get the product out.

It works well, but the applicator is kinda hard to use. It also doesn't dry fast at all so you have to wait a long time. If you open your eyes after applying it means you have a high chance of the product creasing. I like it, but it wouldn't be my first choice
I want to love it, but it just doesn't hold my eyeshadow 2

I love the UD original eyeshadow primer. I have smaller hooded eyes and so eyeshadow will just naturally come off my eyes in like an hour without primer. the OG primer potion does wonders and keeps my eyeshadow on for like 12 hours. But I have veiny eyelids, so I thought I would try something with some coverage to make the colors pop. And this just isn't the same. After like 2 hours, my eyeshadow has noticeably faded in my crease. It's not noticeable unless I close my eyes, but it's still really annoying and you can see it. I don't know if my og primer potion is just a weird batch, but this is much much more liquidy than the og one. I wanted to love it, but it just doesn't work for me.
I will not purchase again 3

Wanted to get an eye primer for that bold and non budging eye makeup but this just isn't it for me I don't think either that or I have the wrong makeup brushes.
My Favourite Eyeshadow Primer!! 5
Attila The Shopper from Erlanger, Kentucky
A great primer! It makes even the cheapest quality eyeshadow pop and stay in place. The colour is also light enough to wear alone ( for fair or light complexons like mine). It makes most of my powder eyeshadows last at least 12 hours! It's a little bit pricey, but you get a lot of product in the tube. I highly recommend!
Love the look 4

I loooove how this looks by itself, so I often just wear it as a cream shadow basically. It's a shimmery champagne color and a very thin formula. The only issue I have had with it is when I use shadow over it, it tends to crease easily. To be fair I have awfully oily eyelids so if you don't have that problem it might be fine! I still like it even so
Your eye makeup stays on forever and does not crease! 5

This is my go to eye primer since I have oily eyelids but with this primer my eye makeup stays on great!
Good But Not Great 3

I bought this primer because I wanted to see how an eye shadow primer compared to using regular concealer. This primer applied easily but it dries quickly so I had to make sure to rub it in right away with my finger. Honestly, compared to my normal concealer, my eye shadow went on just the same and I was hoping for more dramatic results especially with my shimmery and metallic shadows. The price is a little high in my opinion for an eye shadow primer. I will be sticking to my regular concealer when my primer runs out.

It worked pretty good
I would buy this product again and again! But here's why 4/5 4

I love this product! The only reason it gets a 4/5 is the stupid wand!!! It's wastes so much product. I liked when it was just squeeze out and apply.
Best ever! 5

First time I ever used this was on my wedding in 2005. My eye makeup didn't budge for 12 hours. I have been hooked ever since. Not too crazy about all the packaging changes they have gone through in the years. I personally liked the tube and squeeze out to the last drop. I really feel you don't get all of the product either the wand.
I wanted to like it 2

i was excited to try this product and wanted very much to like it. It looked, from the reviews, to be the Holy Grail of shadow primers. However, it settled into my lines (I didn't realize there was an anti-aging formula when I bought this one). Also I didn't think the formula's consistency (opacity) was as good at camouflaging eyelid redness and discoloration as my much-less-expensive Clinique Touch Base for Eyes. So, for the price, this is a pass for me. Doggone. .
Didn't do anything 2

I put this on after my primer and foundation. It didn't apply to my eyelids as nicely as I hoped it would. It went on kind of cakey. I felt like it only made it more difficult to apply eyeshadow to my eyes. Maybe I should've put it on before my foundation? I've only used it twice since I've purchased it and both times I wasn't happy with the results.
It works!!! 5

I've used this primer for several years now because it helps keep my eyeshadow from creasing. Before this, I had lots of embarrassing crease problems. This really does help. It's pricey for the size, but it went on a crazy sale for $11and I needed more anyway.
Loving it....again! 5

It's been a while since I re stocked and now I don't know how I lasted so long without it. Love it even on its own, great for when on a rush with a nice crease color, liner and your ready!
Eyeshadow lasts all day!
Love it! 5

I know it's an eye primer but i use this an eyeshadow for the lid. It looks like a pretty satin champagne color. You can add more eyeshadow on to add more but this is really pretty on alone.
Not good 1
Angela from CA
I usually use the anti ageing. Thought I would try a color base. It caked on my eye lids like a bad foundation!
Stays Put 5
Echo from Springfield, OR
This primer isn't cakey, doesn't emphasize eye wrinkles, and holds my shadow in place yet allows me to blend. This is my favorite primer out of the ones I've tried. The only downside is that its a little pricey
Eye shadow stays on all day 4

The formula could be a little thicker so you only have to apply one coat.
I bought this a few times 5

I don't know why I go days without wearing this stuff. It makes the biggest difference. Always keeps my shadowing lasting all throughout the day and doesn't leave me with creasing by the end of my shift. I always come back to this stuff when it's time for a new one.
Game changer for eyeshadow 5
Rose from CT
I love this product so much & don't know why everyone's not using it. A little goes a very long way in helping to cancel out discoloration on the lids & give you an even base. I used to use the original primer potion but prefer this one because of the way it helps to cover the veins on my eyelids. This product lasts for sooo long too. I absolutely refuse to wear eyeshadow without this product. I will say I do miss urban decays original squeeze tube packaging for their primer potion. Over time the wand has lost its fluff & I usually end up squeezing this tube to use the primer rather than using its wand.
I would buy this top again 5

Great for making my eyeshadows pop , not crease and last a long time .
Underwhelmed..... 3
Mskayjay727 from Camillus, NY
I have both the Ulta brand and the UD brand and honestly, the UD brand is much creamier, easier to apply, and holds my makeup better. I don't know if I have a bad tube but this will be going back
Really lasts 5

Keeps eyeshadow on, no creases, colors do not fade and lasted ALL DAY

Love this primer potion. Makes eyeshadow look amazing
Way too oily 1
Brandace from Oregon
I'm not sure what all the hype is. This product is extremely oily and creases my makeup every time I use it. Bummed because I generally like Urban Decay products.
