Best on the market
This is the best foundation on the market - coming from someone who almost exclusively has used high end foundations for the last 10-15 years. This beats them all. Perfect inbetween of matte and glowy.
Better than the best
I've been buying $50/bottle Armani luminous silk foundation. I picked this Maybelline foundation up to keep at our lake house because I wanted something cheap and the internet recommend it as one of the best drugstore brands. The super stay is so much better?! The Armani, yes, has a beautiful Dew-y finish - but requires a good primer and melts off at the first sign of heat or sweat in the summer and can get cake-y if I'm not religious with moisturizer in the winter (combo skin). The maybelline lasted through a heatwave while I was sweating like crazy AND swimming in the lake… I'm just so impressed! It's also fuller coverage (I've been using tons of concealer under the Armani because I have circles and redness) and while the finish isn't as dew-y, I really don't care! I'm buying this from now on.
The best foundation!
My skin is so oily like every foundation just melts right off, but this one literally lasts all day for me! 1000000/10
It's a miss for me
Unfortunately, this one was a miss for me. My "test" for foundations is how they wear on my nose (I have very oily, rosacea-prone skin on my nose; combo/oily everywhere else), and unfortunately this one broke up badly during the day. It also emphasized my enlarged pores quite a bit, although the feel of the foundation was very good. All in all, this was a pass, although Maybelline does have some wonderful products!
100% would buy again
Super Stay by Maybelline is super good, if you have a great skin prep. It also depends on your skin type too. This product is great for people that want to start doing their makeup. This product is super good if you apply it the right way. Over all this is a super good product.
