How to Use Lock Function:
- The SMART-XTM High Efficiency Dryer allows you to lock your style settings in place to prevent accidental change during use. To lock your style settings, move the ON-OFF switch to the LOCK position, with the lock symbol. When the dryer is set in the LOCK position, you cannot adjust the heat or speed settings, but the cool shot function may still be used. To change your style settings, simply move the ON-OFF switch from the LOCK position back to the ON position.
How to Use the Self-Cleaning Function:
- The dryer will alert you when it must be cleaned. All three speed lights will flash simultaneously for 5 seconds. During this time, the dryer will NOT function. It will resume functioning on the sixth second. To engage the self-cleaning function, hold down the "Speed Lower" button for approximately 10 seconds. The dryer will automatically self-clean for 15 seconds. Once the cleaning is complete, you may resume using the dryer as normal.

Won't last!
It was great while it worked which was only 6 months!!! They need to fix the problem! My $20 revlon lasted 10 years and this dryer 6 months! At 6 months it takes like 30 seconds to turn on. Then just firsnt work. The company needs to fix the problem! I have had 2 with the same issues.
Do Not Buy
Both my mom and I purchased this blow dryer during the beauty steals when half off. My moms stopped working about 6 months after purchasing. Mine stopped working shortly after. The heat on it wouldnt work. Just blew cold air. Save your money.
REGISTER FOR WARRANTY
Make sure you register for warranty orotexrion be ause my hair broke and they will not send me a replacement dispite the price paid. Sad.
Doesn't Last
This prodcut is absolutely horrible. It worked grest and was amazing…. Until it legit started falling apart. The buttons dont work. The clips to hold to vent on it the back are broke. Unplugging kt and resetting it does nothing. The warranty is HORRIBLE and you have to pay for shipping both ways just for them to tell you that whats broken isnt under warranty, even though you have to fill out a form online and it was approved, or thry say they cdnt replicate the problem….. the entire system is horrible and i would never ever reccomend this to anyone. Complete waste of money. Mind you I only used this item twice a week, for a year, before it fell apart.
Poor Value
Cannot recommend. This dryer wasnt used very often and just stopped working. For the money it should last longer that it has. No replacement information available for teplacement or customer service
