 Sheer Clean Dry Shampoo Mist

Ive tried many dry shampoos, left disappointed with dirty and heavy hair. I can't say enough positive things about this product. It's a light mist that smells like standard Living Proof original products. My hair actually looks and feels clean after using and stays that way! Whatever sorcery this is, it's worth the price !

I'm not sure what kind of sorcery is involved in this dry shampoo, but I loved it! I thought I was going to hate it at first because it actually felt like it was wetting my hair. But once it dried, I was so impressed—it absorbed all the oil without leaving my hair chalky, powdery, or covered in white residue. My hair just looked clean and refreshed! It did leave a little buildup, but much less than most dry shampoos I've tried. Definitely exceeded my expectations!

I am a long term Living Proof dry shampoo user, and I purchased this product directly from their website. After one use, I requested a return/refund. My hair is long, fine, too soft/slippery to hold a barrette or a style, so I usually appreciate the texture I get from a dry shampoo. Thankfully, I tried this over a weekend with no big plans, because had used it before work or an important event, I would have been even more unhappy. I followed the instructions exactly. Shook the bottle thoroughly. I liked the idea of a non‑aerosol formula, but the wet mist meant a noticeably longer dry time - plan ahead. While it did remove oil, the aftermath was the problem for my hair type. Once dry, it was difficult to get a hairbrush through my hair. The product left my hair sticky, overly textured, dull and gritty, causing the brush to snag repeatedly. My hair looked and behaved NOTHING like the smooth, long dark‑haired models shown on their website. Styling was impossible because both the brush and fingers kept catching on what felt like tiny knots. After struggling until my arms hurt, I stopped and noticed new broken hairs sticking out of the brush. I gave up and put my hair in a ponytail for the day. I couldn't wait to get home and wash it out, which defeats the entire purpose of a dry shampoo. Lots of short/broken hair left in the drain after shampooing. After my hair had dried, I see many visibly broken hairs sticking out all over my head where I sprayed the mist and tried to brush/style. I take good care of my hair and don't even blow dry to avoid damage. This will take a long time to grow out. I'm devastated. This product did remove oil, but it made my fine, straight hair unmanageable and caused breakage.
