I have been using Alterna's Bamboo Weightless Whipped Mousse and for a few years and loved it. It was perfect for my fine, thin, hair and gave it non-sticky volume and light/med hold. It came time to order more and I couldn't find it in stock anywhere which leads me to believe it's been discontinued...

Works as intended
I love this stuff. First bottle was defective. You MUST shake the bottle almost violently before using to activate whats inside. Once you feel the product shift inside, it's ready to be dispensed and will come out like foam. Otherwise, it will look runny. A little applied to your roots will give amazing results. I use this straight out of shower on roots and very little on mids and barely touch ends and brush it through. It will give the most amazing volume! I blowdry and wrap hair in big rollers on top and sides. When I sleep, I pull all my hair up on my pillow and wake up with amazing volume that holds. I will forever repurchase.
I would buy this product again and again.

Perfect... except for the scent

I purchased this for a lot of fine brunette hair with a slight wave that I tend to dry/flat iron straight. I loved that it was lightweight and not sticky or crunchy. It would have been perfect - except for the scent. It is a very heavy, masculine musk/cologne. It was so offensive I used it less that 10 days and will need to toss the rest. Very sad.
