Apply a pea-size amount on the eyelid using the doe foot applicator. Then, blend using a clean finger tip or a flat shadow brush from lash line up to the brow bone. Allow for Shadow Insurance Primer to dry, then blend shadow effortlessly on top.
Tip: To help eliminate smudging on the lower lash line apply a small amount of Shadow Insurance Primer using a clean fingertip or a flat shadow brush. Follow with eye shadow, eye liners, and mascara, if desired.

So disappointed in new packaging - and new formula??
Had to come back and leave a review (which is rare for me TBH) and it's nice (and yet sad) to see I'm not the only one who dislikes the new packaging w/ wand. It's terrible. the wand/brush is useless, it doesn't apply well at all that way, and if you apply it like the directions say, you are wiping ...

Eye primer
Love the eye primer it is so nice. I had a lot of dryness issues on my lead and when I'm using this primer, it does the job it does not leave my eyelid dry which I love about that and it keeps my eyeshadows on place.
Bring back the OLD FORMULA and TUBE!

I just bought this and the formula definitely has CHANGED, It doesn't work now. It used to be one of my favorite products when it was in the tube. I'm now searching for a new product from another company. My picture shows the old tube (the word SHADOW has rubbed off because I had it so long) I'm very disappointed in the new product formula, it doesn't work and it's a waste of money. I wouldn't recommend it at all, don't waste your money.

Please change this back to the squeeze tube. This is the best product ever. However the problem is it's very difficult to tell when you're about to run out because you can't see how much is left. It's also somehow more dry than it used to be when it was in the Squeeze tube. Also the applicator is not useful because you still have to use your fingers to spread it over your eyelids evenly.
new formula is awful
I swore by this eye primer. since the formula change and new packaging, I cannot stand it. it's cakey, casts, and ruins my eyeshadow every time. I have opted for just not wearing makeup after struggling to use this. I'm going to try to add an oil or eye cream to help. at this price, I should not have to mix my own condition to get it to work.
Not the same, it smudges
I bought this recently, after taking a break from eyeshadow. Previously I only used Too faced eye primer so, I went back to this brand. I wanted to do some of the same things I used to do with my eyeshadow-smokey eye. Even after rereading the directions, I can't make it work. Waste of money. My black eye shadow becomes uneven and it smudges upward. My eyes actually look worse, using this primer. I'm disappointed because this primer used To be effortless. Years ago, I learned how to use eye shadow with this brand's primer. Now, it's like the primer doesn't set or dry down. I keep trying to use different amounts but i can't make it work. It shouldn't be this hard to use.
