Inferior to the L'anza shampoo it replaces

This is L'anza's replacement for its previous Healing Remedy shampoo that came in a gray tube, and it is inferior to it. I'm a male with a full head of medium short, gray hair. This new version leaves my hair feeling dry and looking thinner and limper and doesn't work well with styling product, not even the aggressive-hold wax I use. The old version delivered a combination of excellent body with good manageability and worked really well with my hair wax. The main changes to the new formulation are the inclusion of glycerin and the replacement of L'anza's long-traditional keratin amino acids with simple hydrolyzed vegetable proteins. The hydrolyzed proteins are not guaranteed to be broken down sufficiently to adhere to hair as well as free amino acids or short peptides, and the amino acid profile of vegetable protein will be different from keratin. I'm guessing this was a cost saving maneuver. I've used some version of L'anza Remedy for most of the past 25 years, starting with its original formula for many years, skipping the second version, then using the third Healing Remedy version (gray tube) again for many years. L'anza has degraded this product for the fourth version. I will not buy it any longer.
