Apply a pea-sized amount to clean, dry face and neck in the evening. Avoid the eye contour and contact with eyes. Start with a weekly application and gradually increase to twice a week, a few days apart, as tolerated by your skin. Apply a moisturizer afterwards. Do not use with other retinoid products. Use sun protection during the day.

I received this product as a gift from a friend. Apon first look, I was baffled how little product you get for the price. I've used OTC retinaldehyde for years, so I think I will stick with it: I get the same amount of care and three times the product for the price. The Ordinary is not what it used ...

Not my fav
Not my fav. Burns a little. Stains my skin yellow. Smells bad.
Yellow, stains bedding!
This stuff is Easter-peep yellow, and it stains my bedding. I've used retinol products for years and thought I'd try retinal. My skin is not particularly sensitive, and it's in overall good shape. I spread a pea-sized amount over my whole face, neck, and décolletage, including eyelids and under eyes. I have not noticed any difference/improvement in skin elasticity, firmness, tone, or wrinkling with this product. I also have not experienced burning or peeling as some other reviewers have. The price is much more reasonable than the Murad I also tried last summer, and the products are similar. Overall, mostly because of the staining, I won't buy again. I'll just go back to my tried-and-true Lilyana Naturals retinol cream.

Love the feel of this on my face. Use every night. It's a must have, keep on hand product. Try it and you will love it.
Takes time
I usually use the emulsion retinoid and that is a PERFECT product. I wanted something stronger though and got this. It is MUCH stronger and like some other people I experienced some burning. I actually put it on my eye lids which is fine with the emulsion but this product absolutely decimated my eye lids lol they burned and I had to use moisturizing products and aquaphor for a while. I now use it after some thicker products, avoiding my eyelids. You just have to be careful and adjust when you put it on based on your sensitivity. I also noticed though that the product turns orange over time. I'd expect that with a vitamin c, but it's kind of strange with this product and it makes me worry if the product is unstable. My skin reacted fine otherwise but it is concerning.
